2 3/4 Flour
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. Softened Butter
2 Eggs
2 Tps. Cream of Tartar
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1/4 Tsp. Salt

For Sugar Mixture:
3 Tbsp. Sugar
1 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon

Steps: Preheat oven 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients except the sugar mixture, in a large bowl. Best at low speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed (2-4 minutes). Blend the sugar mixture in a small bowl. Shape cookie dough into one inch balls and roll them in the sugar mixture. Place two inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are slightly browned.
