The amount of heat required to change the temperature of a mass unit of a substances by one degree Celsius is described as specific heat.

Water is electronegative because it is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Because one side of the atom has a partially positive charge and the other has a partially negative charge, an electronegative atom is more likely to attract electrons. The oppositely charged sides are naturally brought together, resulting in a weaker hydrogen bond.
