When Circuses were starting to blossom, Their form of transportation wasn't the easiest thing. The Circus crew would have to lug around all of their equipment, performers, and animals so transportation was rough. Let alone that during this time performing in small towns didn't make a lot of money so the circus crew wouldn't even get paid a good amount of money. It wasn't until 1871, When W.C. Coup partnered with P.T. Barnum to get the name of "the one of the first uses of a circus train." So after the uprising of "circus trains," the shows would be taken to larger cities. Those larger cities paid so much more than the smaller towns that most of the money went to creating a better circus. Today, Ringling Bros., Barnum, and Bailey Circus still use the trains as a form of transportation to transport their circuses to make an amazing show.
