  • PEACE GATHERING:
    • Get some of your friends together! Organize a peace gathering in your community. Use banners, posters, and online forms to advertise the gathering. You should organize a picnic in your local park! Use the people you have to spread the idea of peace and start a monthly or annual picnic! If you can gather some friends, family, or anyone in your community could change someone's perspective on peace!

    • PEACE PARTY:
    Plan a party! Use your community to get extra money or people to attend and help. Use your school to use fellow students and teachers to promote your party. If you have games, costumes, food, and other things with an ongoing theme of PEACE, you can make anything fun at your party. 

    • PEACE POTLUCK:
    Gather all the great cooks in your community to give food to your PEACE POTLUCK! If you have everybody in for your summer break, bring lemonade, ice cream, and other fun-in-the-sun foods. Gather your friends and family to make an amazing experience that everyone will remember!

    • PEACE TALENT SHOW:
    Do you want to show off your skills in your annual talent show for PEACE? If so, this is the right one for you! Gather your friends, family, acquaintances, and everyone in between to come to a talent show to raise money for a peace charity! If you have diversity, confidence,  talent, and friendship on your side, nothing can stand in your way!

    I hope that these ideas for how you can contribute to PEACE IN YOUR COMMUNITY will help encourage you and your town to get in on the fun. If you use love, friendship, and sprinkle on a little creativity, then you can make ANYTHING happen! This collaboration gives us an excellent chance to promote and encourage peace! We as individuals are ultimately in charge. We have the technology, resources, and materials to make it happen! 
    HOW?
    Peace is everywhere! We just have to know where to find it...................
    Promoting PEACE through education:
    TEACH about peace:
    Teach about the importance and beauty of peace. Make activities engaging and exciting for all ages to enjoy! Learn about conflict and how to resolve. Something as simple as agreeing with someone is creating peace!
    Promoting peace through ART and MUSIC!
    Make artwork about peace, quote peace, make music, and sing songs! 
    ENCOURAGE others to find ways to promote peace through their very own platform!
    Promoting peace with SOCIAL MEDIA:
     With so many ways to share, like, video, and promote, social media is one of the BEST ways to contribute!
    Make daily posts promoting peace, and be active! 
    Promoting peace in SCHOOL:
    Find ways to incorporate peace, such as putting up fun, engaging posters, participating or creating competitive peace contests, and electing peace representatives to offer help or encouragement!

    Peace Messages:
    We could post small posters, like the little quotes on the walls of the school! Around the school we could have sticky notes or little papers that we tape on the walls with little messages like, "You are beautiful" or sweet things to empower others.
