1. The presence of transdisciplinary was the objective of that chapter in the book, and scholars called to embrace it because by embracing transdisciplinarity, it's a way of scholars can explicitly "engage in and generate deep critical thinking" that seeks to better understand of present condition which is complex. Since transdisciplinarity increases the likelihood that the knowledge produced is used in decision making, it may benefit my research project by adding a research layer to my work that can support strategic action.
