<title>Phishing messages seem to come from legitimate organizations such as PayPal, UPS, a government agency or your bank. However, in reality it is about imitations. Emails kindly request that you update, validate or confirm the information in an account, often suggesting that there is a problem. Then you are redirected to a fake website and tricked into providing information about your account, which can lead to the theft of your identity.</title>

<title>Keep good habits and do not respond to links in unsolicited emails or on Facebook.Do not open attachments of unsolicited emails.Protect your passwords and do not reveal them to anyone.Do not give confidential information to anyone by phone, in person or through email.Check the site URL (web address). In many cases of phishing, the web address may seem legitimate, but the URL may be badly written or the domain may be different (.com when it should be .gov).Keep your browser updated and apply security patches.</title>

<title>Phishing scams work by tricking you into clicking on a link or attachment that either infects your machine with malware or takes you to a page that looks totally legit, but isn&#39;t and is designed to steal your private information. According to the the Anti-Phishing Working Group, 100,000 new phishing attacks get reported every month, and thousands of people fall for them. But you are smart. You can increase your chances of avoiding phishing scams if you follow these three steps and, above all, remember that when it comes to your email you can&#39;t really trust anything.</title>
