This is a very creative way of making a video and producing a high quality product, and even though the whole video is animated it is produced in a way where it still includes some of the other features from the other videos, such as cutting to the beat and multi image. Animation can be very effective if there is a high budget, however when not done properly it can look very basic and not well put together.
In this video the song is very fast paced and colourful which draws the audience to want to watch on, and due to the nature of the song because it is very lively and fun, the video compliments it to the point where it can be viewed and enjoyed by different age groups of people.

Here the director probably was trying to create it on a low budget rather than spending too much money on creating sets, so this was done to save both time and money. When done right this effect can add something unique like a background or a scene to a video but here it isn't done properly which in turn damages the quality of the video.

This is because in the video it showcases lots of people creating moving images whilst people are walking around and they are creating different scenes. This is a very interesting and unique style that has been adopted for the video because it showcases multiple people trying to represent what is going on in the song through the use of creating images with their bodies rather than animation.

One scene in particular it is used is 50 seconds in where Bruno Mars is walking down the street and instead of using a long or mid shot to show this, the camera is on top of a car and as it drives past it shows him walking down the road. Shots like this are high budget however are very effective when done properly as they break up the video.

The technique here is used as an overlay to make each shot look more interesting, and because she is set on a white background with different backgrounds over the top of her silhouette it gives it a more dramatic/cinematic feel. It also for the viewer gives the video more of a movie style effect as it looks more high budget and interesting for them to watch.

This is done because the producers and directors have decided that they want to film the video at a non studio location, so they can't physically sing outside as it wouldn't be picked up by microphones due to noise disturbance in the background for things such as waves from the ocean.
This is done so that the band can still have an exciting video to be filmed without having to worry about damaging the quality of their music, as it is pre recorded in a studio. This way more time has been spent on video production and choreography to make the best video possible.

In this song as the characters move and speak their bodies are cutting to the beat. The producers use this in the songs so that it makes the video relevant to the song itself and it makes it interesting for the viewers as they can see that effort has been made by the camera operators and the editors to make a high quality production. It also helps up the pace of the video as there wont be a lot of the same shots, they keep changing throughout. In the video "Darlin' " by Tom Zanetti, it is used right at the start in the club sequence to give the effect of fast dance music being played for the people to move in time too, also while creating the effect of an upbeat song.

These music videos are videos that were made for a certain advert or commercial, that then becomes the official music video for the song. These are done so that brands and artists can collaborate to make themselves more aware and to raise more money as a collective rather than releasing the song on their own. It helps out both parties as they both end up getting more recognition from it, and it helps both parties make more money. The Video for "taste the feeling" by Coca Cola Features the artists Avicii and Conread Sewell as they sing the song for the video featuring people drinking coca cola. The artists also feature in the video as they are promoting their talents and themselves to get their music heard by a larger audience.

A parody music videois a video that imitates the original video however it is in a humorous way. These are done for comedic effect to make the video entertaining for the viewers. They are normally done in two ways, one that copies a similar style for the video but changes the lyrics that fit with the tune, or one that keeps the lyrics but changes the video for comedic effect. The Video that I looked at was a parody of Famous by Kanye West, where two men recorded themselves in weird ways walking around pretending to be Kanye West for humours effects. They kept all of the lyrics and tune however they didn't used his video in anyway, they recreated their own style. This is effective as it can be a very easy way to make a song funny, and it can be enjoyed by multiple different audiences.

An example of surrealism in music videos is Up and Up by Coldplay as it shows the band performing around the world, however when they are singing they are extremely enlarged compared to everyday objects, as at one point one of the artists is singing whist lying down over a whole country.
Coldplay incorporate this style into a lot of their videos as the video becomes more than just an extension of the song, it is interesting to watch and it is creative for people to watch.
Surreal Videos contain clips that aren't what you would normally see, and they are creative in the sense that people will look at them and remember them as they are so unique. It is a clever way of making memorable content however it is hard to create as you need to use a lot of special effects to make it work properly, and to make it look realistic is very expensive.

In the Video Chandelier by Sia, it features an interpretive dance throughout, that can be received in may different ways by different people. It features a young girl that is meant to represent Sia through the same wig that she wears, and it shows her dancing around a room in what to some people could look like a weird way, but it can be perceived as something completely different depending on the person. The music video has a unique style as it doesn't show any story in particular, however when people listen to the lyrics they can interpret the video how they like and tie the lyrics with the dancing in the way they want to.
The production costs for this video would have been very high, as to make a video on location like this and to pay the dancers to create this routine would cost the production company a lot of money, however it is a very effective style as it allows people to view it how they want.

This style of footage was used a lot before the 70's era, as most bands only performed their music at a concert or in the studio to go along with the audio. This style is simple and doesn't feature many different shot types, however it it was effective back in the 60's as they didn't have any different ways of creating videos. In the Beatles Video, We can work it out, it showcases them in a studio playing the music live. The definition of this style is where live footage of them playing instruments is record and the band singing, rather than them lip syncing and having pre recorded audio. The resources required for this style vary depending on what instruments the band plays, and a camera and microphones will be needed to record the footage and audio.
The music Video was successful in its time due to the fact that it showed one of the most successful bands during the 60's just playing their music, it was simple and effective.

the video for "False Alarm" by The Weekend, tells a very extreme narrative of a group of criminals performing a bank heist in America. The narrative follows one member in particular as the camera is in first person perspective. The group rob a bank and perform a getaway only for it to go wrong. A narrative video in general is a music video that tells a story through the lyrics and the visuals, and this describes it perfectly.
The resources and techniques used in this style often follow a lead character in the story along with multiple actions that happen to them, however in this video what is unique you don't see who the main character, who's perspective you are viewing throughout the whole video, until the very end when he looks in the mirror before he dies. This narrative style with the first person camera is very effective as it makes the viewer feel as if they are a part of the video, and that they can understand what the characters are going through.

They give off a different Mood and feeling to normal videos as they try to make the viewer feel something rather than telling a story. In the Music Video for titanium,it shows a boy running away from his school and trying to escape the police, the whole time it makes you wonder why and you feel sorry for the child, ands right at the end you see that the boy has superpowers of some kind. This gives a certain feel for the video however that makes you focus on what is happening to the boy rather than everything else in the video, and it create a tense atmosphere for the viewer because they become anxious to see what is going to happen to the boy.
