From Justine:
You mention dialogue for reconciliation is entrenched and it is part of the culture in Christianism and Islam. In the past days, we have been discussing how religious texts can be used to exclude other groups and incite violence. Religion is manipulated. When you organize sessions, you might engage with people that present conflict? How do you deal with inter and intra faiths conflicts?

From Peter: when the different denominations of the Christ centred faiths have conflict, it is easy to talk dialogue. This kind of conflict is like an in house conflict........all Christian denominations are bound by the Bible. But how can we use dialogue to bridge conflict between very divergent religions like Christianity against Islam? The Bible against the Quran

- If the participants are focused on debate, on the competition of ideas, members of one religion will question the practices of the other. On the other hand, if the participants are focused on dialogue, they will not care what the others do as long as they are allowed to follow their practices.
