I did enjoy your course at the u3a's summer school in September last year. I came back all fired up and read some of the books you recommended. However, due to interest, my u3a has started a group. Help! we all sat round and looked at one another and I offered to contact you. Basically, where is a good place to start - I've got my notes.

But before that it would be good to know what sorts of things the group is interested in and, importantly, how they want to do their philosophising. I hope you still have my email. I'm Geoff Allen & am the Convenor of Reigate & Redhill's Philosophy Group2 & have lost touch since Ed Link was the Advisor. I haven't progressed beyond using email for contacts!

We follow a text & are near the end of Nagel's View from Nowhere. I've struggled to find a decent text on Continental Philosophy & so have turned to looking for something on Current Philosophy- Feminism/Environmentalism etc without much success either. Do you have any suggestions for both?
