Many people wrote about the beach, and it parallels with the reason I enjoyed Niagara Falls: the beauty of untouched nature is peaceful and quiet. This peace and serenity is very different from normal day-to-day life in a busy tourist city, so to have the pace of the ocean earby is such a blessing.

I think that was chosen because its a place that is close enough to most of us to visit a lot but also a variety of people and things to do.
