🐄Trần Nguyễn Kiều Nhi

🐶Nguyễn Thanh Trúc

WRITING PORTFOLIO 1:

Some people think that if they want to be happy, they need a job that they like a lot. Besides, other people think that happiness comes from other factors, not just only the job. This essay will discuss if it is necessary to enjoy their job to be happy.

From my point of view, it is correct that having their job they love makes them feel happy. Firstly, they will feel more motivated and interested in going to work every day. For example, if someone likes art and they work as an artist, they will feel comfortable and create some masterpiece. Secondly, when someone works the job that they love, they increase task efficiency. Because they have passion.

However, happiness depends on various factors beside job satisfaction. Strong personal relationships and good health are equal in bringing amusement. If someone has a strong personal relationship and good health, they are usually a positive person. Additionally, there are many factors that making people happy like: financial stability, work - life balance and personal freedom, etc. For instance, when people buy everything what they want, they feel always cheerful.

As mentioned above, loving your job can make people happy but it is not the only way. Having a lot of factors can bring long - term happiness for themselves.

Triều Dương

Hà My

Some people think that to be happy, we must do a job we love. Others believe that other things are more important. I think that enjoying your job is good, but it is not the only way to be happy.

Firstly, doing a job you love can make you feel better every day. You are more excited to go to work and you do not feel bored or tired easily. It can also help you feel less stress and give you more energy to try your best. For example, someone who enjoys teaching or designing may feel happy and proud of their work, even when the job is not easy.

However, many people do not do the job they love, but they are still happy. This is because happiness does not only come from work. Other things like family, friends, hobbies, and free time are also very important. For instance, a person who works in a factory may not enjoy their job much, but they feel happy because they spend time with their family, relax on weekends, and do things they like after work.

In conclusion, having a job you enjoy is helpful for happiness, but it is not the only thing that matters.

Khánh Ngọc - 32300063

Some people believe that happiness comes from having a job they love. Others say that other things are more important. I think that having a job you enjoy is good, but not enough for true happiness.

Firstly, when you love your work, you feel happy to go to work every morning. You do your tasks better and you have more energy. For example, my brother loves computers and now he works as an IT technician. He enjoys solving problems and feels proud of his work.

However, other things matter too. One big thing is the salary. If you do not earn enough, you will feel stressed. Life is expensive, and you need money for living costs like rent, transport, and health care. Even if you love your job, you cannot live well without money.

Another important factor is the working environment. If you have a bad boss or difficult co-workers, you will not feel good at work. I know someone who loved teaching, but she left her school because the staff was unfriendly.

Also, work-life balance is necessary. If a person works all day and has no time for family and friends, they will become unhappy over time, even if they love the job.

In conclusion, having a job you love is important, but salary, a friendly workplace, and free time are also needed to be truly happy in life.

Nhã Thụy

Bảo Trân

It is often said that happiness depends greatly on the job that you love. The more you love your work, the happier you are likely to be. However, others believe that other aspects such as financial stability and a strong bond, can play a significant role in happiness. In my opinion, happiness can be both influenced by your fulfilling job and other factors in your life.

Having a job you can enjoy every day contributes to your happiness throughout the day. Working hours are occupied mainly during the day, so having a satisfying job can help you find more motivation and enthusiasm in your goals. When you are passionate about what you do, it boosts your determination and helps you overcome the difficulty and find happiness in your work life fully.

On the other hand, happiness does not solely depend on your job but is also influenced by other aspects as well. Gaining emotional support from your loved ones alongside financial balance can also strongly contribute to your happiness. These seem like minor things but it overweighs other factors and has a direct influence on your life. Having a harmonious relationship can provide strength to surpass the difficulty. Similarly, having adequate money can reduce stress about your life demands and allow you to pay for your living necessities. You do not need to be wealthy but having plenty of money can help you live comfortably without constant financial worries.

In conclusion, while a job can play a significant role in making you feel happy, other aspects help you live more comfortably. Balance of these elements can lead to more satisfaction and happier life.

Cao Thị Hồng Trúc_ Dương Yến Vi

Trúc_Vi

People have different opinions about what brings true happiness in life. Some believe that having a job you truly enjoy is the key to being happy. Others think that there are more important things, such as health, money, or family. In my opinion, while doing a job you love is great, it is not the only thing that makes people happy.

If someone has a job they love but earns very little money, they might feel stressed. For example, if a person is an artist and enjoys painting, but cannot sell their paintings, they may face difficulties in daily life. In this case, even if they enjoy their job, they are not always happy.

In my own life, I see people who do not love their jobs but are still happy. My neighbor works at a supermarket. It is not his dream job, but he is happy because he has a stable income and time to spend with his family after work. If he didn’t have this balance, maybe he would not feel the same.

Also, if your health is not good, no job can make you happy. Health, family, and peace of mind are also very important. Sometimes, having a simple, steady job and a healthy body is already enough to live a happy life.

Having a job you love is a good thing, but it is not the only way to be happy. If you can balance your work, health, and relationships, you can still enjoy life even if your job is not perfect.

It is often said that doing a job you love is the key to happiness. While I agree that enjoying your work can contribute significantly to one’s well-being, I believe that other factors such as financial security, work-life balance, and supportive relationships also play crucial roles in determining overall happiness.

To begin with, having a job you truly enjoy can make daily life more fulfilling. People who are passionate about what they do often feel motivated, creative, and more engaged in their tasks. For example, a teacher who loves educating children may find joy in their students' progress, which brings a deep sense of purpose. However, not everyone has the opportunity to work in their dream job due to economic constraints or personal responsibilities.

Moreover, job satisfaction alone does not guarantee happiness. A person might enjoy their work but still struggle financially. In such cases, the stress of meeting basic needs like housing, food, or healthcare can overshadow the joy they find in their job. Additionally, long working hours or a toxic work environment can negatively affect mental health, even if the job itself is enjoyable.

Furthermore, relationships, health, and personal freedom are also essential components of happiness. A well-paid job with decent working conditions and time for family and hobbies may offer more happiness than a dream job that demands excessive sacrifices.

In conclusion, while doing what you love is valuable, it is not the only factor in achieving happiness. A combination of job satisfaction, financial stability, and a healthy personal life is more likely to lead to long-term well-being.

Nguyễn Ngọc Tường Vy-12300376

It is often argued that happiness in life depends on having a job one truly enjoys, while others believe that there are more important factors that contribute to overall happiness. In my opinion, although having a job you love can be a significant source of happiness, it is not the only factor that determines one’s overall well-being. On the one hand, doing a job that you are passionate about can lead to a greater sense of purpose and satisfaction. People who enjoy their work tend to feel more motivated, perform better, and experience less stress. For example, artists, teachers, or doctors who are passionate about their professions often report a high level of personal fulfillment, even if their income is not particularly high. A job that aligns with one’s interests can make daily life more enjoyable and meaningful. On the other hand, other factors such as financial security, good health, strong personal relationships, and work-life balance also play a critical role in determining happiness. Some people may not have the opportunity to work in their dream job, but they may still feel content if their job provides a stable income, enough free time, and allows them to support their families. For instance, someone working in a less exciting job may still find happiness through hobbies, spending time with loved ones, or achieving personal goals outside of work. In conclusion, while having a job that one enjoys can certainly enhance happiness, I believe it is not the only path to a happy life. Other aspects such as financial stability, relationships, and personal health are equally important in creating lasting happiness.

Some people think that tourism has many bad effects on the countries people visit. This essay will discuss the statement and suggest the solution for this.

Tourism can cause some problems to local places. First, some tourists wear clothes that are not polite, which can make local people feel uncomfortable. Second, when too many people visit a place, it becomes crowded and noisy. This can disturb the daily life of people who live there. Also, nature is harmed because tourists may walk on plants or leave trash. Animals and plants can be damaged by careless actions.

To solve these problems, tourists should act more responsibly. For the clothing problem, they should respect local culture and dress properly, especially when visiting temples or villages. To help with crowd and noise, tourists can travel during the low season and move in small groups. This makes places less busy. For nature protection, tourists should not touch wild animals or plants, and they must not throw trash. Using less plastic and bringing their own bottles and bags also helps the environment.

In conclusion, tourism can cause problems to local people and nature. But if tourists follow the rules and respect the culture, they can enjoy their trip and protect the place at the same

time.

Many people believe that tourism has negative effects on the places people visit. This essay will discuss this statement and suggest some possible solutions to reduce these impacts. Tourism can cause cultural damage, such as the loss of traditional customs and local identity. For instance, many traditional villages have turned into tourist attractions, losing their original way of life. In addition, tourism can harm the environment through pollution, littering, and destruction of natural areas. A clear example is coral reefs being damaged by careless tourists or plastic waste being left on beaches. However, there are several ways to reduce these harmful effects. First, promoting responsible tourism education is essential. Tourists should be informed about local customs, traditions, and appropriate behavior before visiting a place. Second, eco-friendly practices should be encouraged. Tourists should reduce waste, recycle, and use sustainable products such as reusable water bottles and eco-bags. In conclusion, while tourism can be harmful, its negative effects can be reduced if tourists act responsibly

This essay will talk about how true this is and what tourists can do to make less harm to the local people and nature.

It is true that tourism can have some negative effects. The first problem is about the pollution in a country that they travel to. When some tourists move to a place, they can litter on the street and into rivers or beaches. It can make them dirty and polluted. Moreovers, Breaking the natural landscape is also a problem that needs to be taken care of. For example, too many tourists going to the forest can make a lot of noise and the presence of too many tourists can disrupt the feeding, breeding, and resting activities of wildlife.

Personally,to reduce the harmful effects of tourism on local cultures and environments, here are something tourists can do. The first thing, they should stop to throw away trash in the areas they travel to. Additionally, they can collect garbage to clean up there. Finally, all tourists need to learn about the rules of the places they come. For instance,Tourists know what to do and not do when they go to the national park. This is good for their experiences and all animals in there.

In conclusion, tourism has many negative results in the environments and local cultures. On the other hand, it brings many benefits for the economy and exchange cultures. Also, tourists need to be careful and behave properly in everywhere they vist.

Tourism is often seen as a way for countries to make money and promote cultural exchange. However, some people argue that it can have many negative effects on the countries that people travel to. I believe this statement is partly true, as tourism can cause harm in some cases, but there are also ways for tourists to reduce these harmful effects.

One of the negative effects of tourism is that it can harm local cultures. For example, tourists sometimes bring their own customs and expectations, which can clash with local traditions. This can lead to a loss of cultural identity in some areas. Additionally, tourism can cause overcrowding in popular destinations, which puts pressure on local resources and can reduce the quality of life for local people.

Another problem is the environmental impact of tourism. Many tourists visit natural areas, but their activities, such as hiking or swimming in protected areas, can damage the environment. Pollution from cars, airplanes, and other transportation methods also contributes to the destruction of the local environment.

However, there are ways that tourists can reduce these harmful effects. First, they should respect local customs and traditions by learning about the culture before visiting. This can help avoid misunderstandings and ensure that they do not offend local people. Second, tourists should try to minimize their environmental impact by using eco-friendly transportation, avoiding littering, and supporting sustainable tourism practices. For example, they can stay in hotels that use renewable energy and follow environmentally friendly practices.

In conclusion, while tourism can have some negative effects on local cultures and environments, it is possible for tourists to reduce these harms. By being more aware of their impact and making conscious choices, tourists can help protect both local cultures and the environment.

Tourism is one of the largest and fastest growing industries in the world. While it brings economic benefits, employment opportunities, and cultural exchange, it also has some negative impacts on the countries and communities that attract tourists. This essay will discuss the extent to which this statement is true and suggest ways that tourists can minimize their harmful impacts.

There is some truth to the claim that tourism negatively impacts local cultures and environments. Firstly, mass tourism can lead to environmental degradation. Popular tourist destinations often face problems such as pollution, habitat destruction, and increased waste. For example, natural sites and beaches can become cluttered, and overtourism can disrupt wildlife and ecosystems. Secondly, tourism can be harmful to local cultures. In some places, traditional customs and values are commercialized or changed to attract tourists, which can lead to a loss of cultural authenticity. In addition, the cost of living in tourist areas often increases, making life more difficult for local people.

However, these negative impacts can be reduced if tourists act responsibly. One important way is to respect local customs and traditions. Tourists should take the time to learn about the culture of the places they visit and behave accordingly. Supporting local businesses such as restaurants, shops and family-owned homestays can also help the community economy without relying on large foreign-owned companies. Furthermore, tourists should be mindful of their environmental footprint by avoiding single-use plastics, using public transport and not disturbing nature.

In conclusion, although tourism has some negative impacts on local cultures and environments, many of these impacts can be managed or minimized through responsible behavior. Tourists should try to enjoy their trips while showing respect and care for the places and people they visit.

                                Writing Portfolio 3

Tourism has become a major global industry, bringing economic benefits to many countries. However, others argue that tourism also has negative impacts but they can reduce and change the results to make a good impacts. This essay will discuss the statement and suggest the solution for this.

Tourism has some bad effect on the countries that tourist visit. Firstly, one serious problem is environment pollution. The increase in the number of tourist leads to more air and water pollution. For example, many beaches and rivers has become polluted because of plastic waste by visitors. Secondly, tourism may damage the natural beauty of local places. For instance, many tourism walking in natural parks may destroy plants and disturb wildlife. Finally, tourism can lead to the loss of national cultural in identity. In some places, traditional festivals are turned into commercial events with less meaning for local people.

There are some ways that travelers can do to solve the problems. First, they should learn about the local culture, customs, and traditions before visiting. For example, when visiting Japan, travelers should know that bowing is a common way to show respect. This helps them behave appropriately and avoid misunderstandings. Second, travelers can reduce waste by carrying reusable water bottles and avoiding single-use items. For instance, instead of buying bottled water every day, they can bring their own refillable bottle and use public water stations. This helps protect the environment in tourist destinations. Finally, supporting the local economy responsibly, such as buying local products or using local services, can benefit the community. For example, travelers can choose to eat at local restaurants or buy handmade souvenirs from local artisans instead of mass-produced items. This contributes to sustainable tourism.

In conclusion, while tourism does bring some harmful effects to the countries visited, many of these problems can be reduced through more responsible behavior by tourists and better management by authorities. With the right approach, tourism can be both enjoyable and sustainable.

Tourism plays an essential role in promoting economic growth, cultural exchange, and international understanding. However, it is true that tourism can also bring many negative effects to the countries that people travel to. These harmful impacts often affect local cultures, environments, and the daily lives of residents.

One major problem is environmental degradation. Popular tourist destinations may suffer from pollution, overuse of natural resources, and destruction of ecosystems. For example, beaches can be littered with plastic waste, and forests may be damaged by excessive hiking and construction. In addition, cultural traditions can be commercialized or altered to suit tourists’ expectations, which may lead to a loss of authenticity and identity in local communities.

To reduce these negative effects, tourists should travel responsibly. They can support local businesses, respect cultural customs, and avoid activities that harm nature or animals. Simple actions such as reducing plastic use, following designated paths, and learning basic local etiquette can make a significant difference. Moreover, choosing eco-friendly accommodations and tour operators that prioritize sustainability also contributes to protecting the local environment and culture.

In conclusion, while tourism can have negative effects, they can be minimized if tourists act with awareness and responsibility. Sustainable tourism not only helps preserve the beauty and uniqueness of a destination but also ensures that future generations can enjoy it as well.
