I use math in alot of places, because when you think about it, math really is everywhere. When your at your house, there are so many examples of math, like the corners show angles, most couches have patterns, pillows and tv's are shapes. Another place that you see math is right on your computer screen, not only is that shape a rectangle but even on padlet there all the responses are shapes.

I use math whenever I need to go to the corner store. When I purchase the desired product, I am told the amount that I owe the cashier. I then have to add up my change, or, if I only have bills, I give the bill to the cashier. The cashier adds up my total change and gives me back the amount that they owe me in change. I also use math when I am playing board games. I have to use my knowledge of probability to predict what the outcome of the game may be depending on my actions. I have to decide the likelyhood of rolling a 2 as supposed to 11 or 12. In conclusion, I use math in many ways within my everyday life.

Math is in almost everything, everywhere you look you can see math. For example, you see a shape and you can name it because you learned about that shape in the geometry unit your doing in math and that same shape can be almost anywhere unless it is a not very common shape. Also you even use math to help you move around and get things done like, if you need to park in a parking lot you have yellow lines that almost forms a rectangle so you don't crash or hit another car. Another place to see math is under your feet if theres tiles of course. Tiles can come in different shapes and sizes and they all include various types of math, those types are geometry, patterns, division, multiplication and most importantly measurement. It might be weird i said multiplication and division but you can measure the room you want tiles in and measure the tiles, multiply the tiles then divide the amount of tiles from the measurement of the room.

There are measurements that tell how much of an ingredient you need and there is time to tell you how long to cook it. Furthermore, there are fractions that also tell you how much of an ingredient you need.
