Bell peppers have seeds which can be naturally spread when the fruit falls to the ground and decomposes or by the animals that ingest them through their feces. As the plant grows, it can either self-pollinate or cross-pollinate with the help of insects and birds, depending on the type of pepper. Eventually the peppers grow to their full size and ripen. One possible reason may because humans have stopped using their hands to walk, as opposed to many primates which still heavily rely on their hands. As well, these opposable thumbs have given humans great dexterity, allowed humans to invent and grip tools. Compared to other many other animals, humans are smaller and weaker. In dark conditions, our pupils dilate, to let in more light improve of vision of our surroundings. In bright conditions, our pupils shrink to let in less light. If it didn't, we would have a hard time seeing as our surrounds would either be too bright or blinding.
