What will be most rewarding for you in your job as a teacher?
For me, the most rewarding thing is to pass some values to the students, in order for them to learn to express their ideas and be more critical about the situations that they come across. In addiction to that, it is rewarding to guide the group of students to work collaboratively and have a team and solidarity spirit.

What will be the biggest challenges for you in your job as a teacher?
This profession have challenges constantly, but I think that the biggest one is to answer properly to every student's needs, as they are unique with different interests and needs.

How will you organize your professional development?
I will organize my professional development by taking courses and exchanging ideas with other professionals in this area. I'll also reflect constantly about my practice and try to learn how to teach better.

Nowadays, although teachers have to follow the typical formal learning, witch are measured by tests and other forms of assessment, I think some are starting to include the non-formal learning and taking more interest in the informal learning, as students learn many things just by interacting with the environment. I really want to be that kind of teacher and be able to use the knowledge students have learned informally to develop some activities witch may be more interesting and motivating for them. Also, I want non-formal learning to be a part of my practices as a teacher, because learning is not limited to the formal processes inside the schools, students can learn and research about anything they would like to learn, voluntarily and self motivated.
I think school should be more flexible, because students don't learn the same way and don't have the same interests and skills. Today's society is becoming more and more diversity dew to human flux (witch is a challenge for many reasons, but also because of the language, therefore, teachers need to be able to adapt their practices and be flexible as students have different possibilities to access information, have personal interests and diverse needs.

What do you think of medium like Twitter?
I think that medium like Twitter are a good way to communicate and create professional relations. It allow us, users, to share and discuss professional opinions and be aware of some organisations and events that can be helpful in our personal and professional formation and development.

Do you have an account?
I have an account for about a week ago. I didn't have one, but I created one, the moment I started this course.

Do you believe in its potential power for professional development?
Yes, as I explained in the answer to the first question. I really think that it has potential for professionals to improve their practices by discussing and sharing ideas with each other (publicly or by private messages). Its an easier way to reach and communicate with other professionals outside the daily environment. Also, as I said earlier, we can be aware of many courses and organisations, that without this medium we might not get to know about them.

Do you think there are better social media tools where you can learn as a teacher?
I don't think so, no.

I'm not a teacher yet, but I think the four principles mentioned in the video are really important to a active learning classroom. I believe that the students should be involved in their learning process, so the access between instructor and students must be promoted, and should use digital and analog tools, in order to be proactive in their learning process. In that order of ideas, I also believe that the students should start by defining learning objectives with their teacher, who ideally should use multiple pedagogies in order to respond to the individual needs and interests of the students.
