The Aztec civilization was built on a lake.  And due to them living on a lake they had to adapt to their surroundings.  Since they lived on a lake its was hard for them to build anything, they made huge wooden stakes to anchor buildings into the ground to create a stable foundation of buildings. This connects to the Enduring Issue because they had a problem and then made a solution.

Shi-Huangdi was the first Chinese ruler to call himself an emperor. And he was a legalist which means he believed that there weren't any good people and that a strong government had to punish bad people. And to keep invaders from coming in he built the Great Wall of China which was 3,107 miles long and was 15 - 30 feet high. This connects to the Enduring Issue because SHi-Huangdi had to protect his empire so in by doing so he made people build the Great Wall.

So the Inca created Terrace farming which is method of farming where there are these "steps" known as terraces. They are built onto the mountains and slopes of hills, and when it rains it flows to the next terrace and so on. Every step has an outlet which channels water to the next step. Which helps keep some areas wet and others dry. This helped the farmers produce more crops for the empire. This connects to the Enduring Issue because the Inca had a problem and had to make innovations to solve it.

It was first reported in Wuhan, China on December 2019. And was considered a global health emergency on January 30, 2020. We as people have adapted to this since March of 2020 and still are. We had country lockdowns to try and stop the spread.  We have also worn masks to keep ourselves and the people around us safe, even with the vaccins. This connects to the Enduring Issue because we had a major problem and shortly after had some solutions to those problems.

The Modi government announced that it would only buy half the requirement of vaccines. Which left hospitals overwhelmed with people and cremation sites filled with the dead. This connects to the Enduring Issue because India needed those vaccines but didn't get them because the government only wanted to buy half which is unfair to the people.

It was a labor system the rewarded conquerors with native american indians as laborers. The natives were provided benefits such as being protected, getting taught spanish and catholicism. While they were personal servants, mind for gold and silver, and planted and harvested crops. This connects to the Enduring Issue because the natives were treated as servants and were probably forced to learn spanish and catholicism.

Europeans that had colonized America had made plantations and since most of the Native Americans had died they needed to find a new labor source, so they went to Africa and kidnapped Africans and forced them to work. This connects to the  Enduring Issue because Africans were taken for their homes and ripped apart from their families to be forced into work by Europeans which is injustice.

Absolutism began in the reign of Louis XIV of France which was form 1643–1715. He was an absolute monarch, so his word was the law. He completely controlled the government. This connects to the Enduring Issue because his people were just subjects to him and they and to listen to his word because his word was law. And just Absolutism in general doesn't give the people any voice in anything.
