Claim: My sea otter enclosure supports a sea otters needs to forage, sleep, and move around like they would in their natural habitat.

Evidence: In my enclosure there are caves, a kelp forest, an ice pool, an island for enrichment activities, and a vet clinic. Some enrichment activities are birthday cakes for a sea otters birth day, pumpkins four Autumn, floating boxes for them to open for Christmas, live animals for them to catch, and a red ball for them to play. A resting area is for the staff to put the otters in when they are sick, injured, or for when they are tired so people see a more active version of a sea otter. There is a gate separating the seal and the otters so the sea otters can communicate with other species.

Reasoning: The cave, ice pool, and kelp forest were added into my enclosure to make them feel like they were in the wild, these items will also allow them to be in a group or alone. The enrichment island prevents the otters from getting bored or anxious and the vet clinic is there to keep them healthy. Without the resting area some people would only see a sleeping otter and they would've wasted their money.

In addition, a fake snow pit for the winter, pumpkins to smash for the fall, and an Easter treat hunt in the spring will be available during the season of the activity for some extra enrichment. Furthermore, a mom and baby nursery, a grooming cave, and solitary huts will be also be provided for the chimps. Henceforth, they even have rope to swing and hang on, hills to roll down, an obstacle course for them them to climb on, and a veterinarian cave where they get a monthly checkup.

Reasoning: Without a doubt, I included these features to the chimpanzees enclosure because it helps the chimpanzees thrive and survive close to how they would in their natural habitat.

Enrichment activities also provide opportunities to keep moving; and to stay entertained.

Evidence:
In my enclosure there are swings, a stream, and a jungle gym. I have added fruit trees, so that the chimps can forage just as if they were in the wild. There will also be occasional art, puzzles, and games; depending on the time of year. If the chimpanzees want to be alone, there are caves, dens, and hollows in trees for the chimps to hide in. If the chimpanzees are feeling social, there is lots of open space to socialize! Also, if they are tired, there will be an area complete with hammocks and mats; which are covered in grass to keep everything natural.

Reasoning:
I included these enrichment activities because it helps the chimpanzees stay entertained, keep them moving, and help them grow and develop as if they were in the wild.
