Hello, I’m Mirko, an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Bologna. My work focuses on bioenergy from agrifood by-products and residues. I teach courses on biomass and other renewable energy systems, and I’d like to develop interdisciplinary teaching projects focused on sustainability.

I believe that an interdisciplinary approach is essential to understanding the complexity of the natural and social environments we live in. Within this framework, I’d like to help students develop the skills they need to be able to face today’s sustainability challenges.

Hi, I'm Rūta from Vilnius University (Lithuania), where I work as a researcher in microbiology. I also teach two courses, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.

I joined this course because I believe sustainability is one of the major challenges we face today, and it can only be addressed by bringing together people from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds. Hi, I’m Oana, from Iasi, Romania. I’m a lecturer and teacher trainer at the Faculty of Letters, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, where I teach English Syntax, TEFL, and interpreting. Hello everyone! I'm Annalisa Tassoni from University of Bologna. I'm Associate Professor at the Department of Biological Geological and Environmental Sciences and I teach Plant Biology and Botany to

undergrad students and PhDs. I'm also Delegate for International Relations of my Department. My research focus is the use of plants to increase sustainability. For example how to valorize agro-industrial perisheable by-products and decrease thier impact on environment or how to use plants to remediate polluted soil and water.

Hi, I'm Lucie. I'm a senior lecturer in British history and politics at the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Societies at the University of Lille. As my main research interests lie in the energy transition and Net Zero in the UK, I teach climate politics, post-colonial environmentalism in the Commonwealth and Environmental Humanities. As vice-dean for international affairs I'm fully committed to international collaboration beyond standard mobility programmes; I'm also keen to boost 'internalisation at home' and encourage my colleagues to develop virtual learning, so I intend to lead by doing :)
