1. It consists of two parts, the house and the senate
2. Both parts of Congress have majority and minority leaders, even if they're called different things
3. Nothing ever gets done in Congress because both sides shoot the others' ideas down
Two things that were interesting to me is:
1. I think it's fascinating that people blindly vote with their party and don't even consider the alternative option.  If you're blue, you vote blue. If you're red, you vote red.  Kinda dumb.
2.  I think it's interesting that congressional elections are so forgotten and discarded in the hype of the presidency.  I certainly didn't know or care about them before a few years ago.
