She is Kim Ha's teacher in general.
Right now she is showing the class some things about the Vietnam war and how South Vietnamese people were trying to escape from the North and the communism.
She showed the class a picture of Buddha and asked Kim Ha if she knows who that is, but then Pink Boy and his friends starts bulling her saying "Boo - Da"
She tells Kim Ha to count from 1 to 20, and to say some letters of the abecedary out loud, and then the class started clapping, but that made Kim Ha feel bad because she already learned all that and she wanted to tell her that she already learned that, and that she should be in 5th grade.
She doesn't do anything about the kids, specially pink boy, bothering Kim Ha.
