Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur is about over coming obstacles in your life. I assume the author was sexually abused as a child and this is her poetry of how she over comes it. She goes from being submissive to her abuser to being empowered by her body and discovering she's not just a sexual object. She, just like most people going through a hard time, she goes through stages and she calls them "The hurting, The loving, The breaking, The healing" so far I'm on page 107 and in the chapter/stage called "The breaking." They kinda broke up just now and I'm kind of unsure what's going on? And she also finally felt comfortable with a gay but she just ruined that. Her life is just awful right now. But not much has changed since the last update.
