today we swapped what we were doing on wednesday, so today my group did the foley for the scene in the matrix. this helped us as we had to really think about the different things that we could use to do the foley. after this we edited the scene matrix scene and the peppa pig one. for the peppa pig scene there were some issues as the people were talking faster than the actual scene but we solved this by slowing down the scene so that the voices fit with the scene.
in the afternoon we had a photoshop session where we learnt how to change the backgrounds and make them animated. first we used an image that we got from the internet. them sam and i made our own from scratch, which include a hillside within rain. the rain was created by using the leaf brush.

today i used garage band to create a piece of music that could fit in well with my e book. for this i used guitar, bass and drums. i looked at the different beats i could use and the different instruments that would also fit in well with a children's book.
we also looked at hans zimmer creating the jokers theme in the dark knight, we looked at how he used the instruments to create different sounds to make the music intense and eerie so that it fit in perfect with the character of the joker. we also looked at how the music can actually create the scene and create the character.
after i created a character for a children's e book in which i drew. i then uploaded it on to photoshop and used photoshop to add texture to it. so that it looked more like an animated character other than it looking like a drawing. you can find these pictures on my units 5&6 padlet wall.

today i finished the rest of the backgrounds including the Sydney opera house which i started yesterday and the statue of liberty. i did not have any major problems with these backgrounds except for adding the skyline onto the statue of liberty background which i overcame by getting a few tips from my friend and working the rest out for myself. i also started doing some textures for animals. i added texture onto the mouse and the cheese which are for the scene in France.again i did not have any problems with this.

today i updated our production schedule, this meant putting any changes in red. i also updated my padlet wall so that it included all of our characters and the backgrounds. then i started working on a scene for our ebook this scene is when bingo goes to Italy. to do this scene i used after effects to make max the lion move so that it looked like he was walking. i also started using final cut but did not finish as i had to keep going back to after effects as i had to change a couple of things. i will finish the stuff on final cut tomorrow. i also recorded my character for the e-book, i recorded the voice for kayla the kangaroo, this meant that i had to do an Australian accent. i did not have many problems, but any that i did have i either googled it or asked one of peers for advance then figured out the rest myself

today i researched some Australian music for the scene where bingo goes to australia. i used garage band to try and create the music however there was not many instruments that sounded australian which made it a bit more harder. however i had a recording on my phone from when i used my guitar and that recording kind of sounded like a didgeridoo but it is not perfect.
after i animated the map with the help from dave because i had never used this technique before. i was adding a line to the map to make it look like the fox was travelling from one place to another. to get this effect we used the write- on effect which allows you to draw line onto the composition. we tried to add on the foxes head but it did not go to plan as the head would not follow the line or it would go to different places. instead we opted for just using the line as it was easier and less stressful. again u had the help of dave as i had never used this technique before and neither had he.
