One of my favorite mangas is Blue Period, I heavily relate to the characters which made me deeply attached to this series. The story is about different artists who show that there is not just beauty in art but also the pain that resides within it.

I love the beat, and the lyrics talks about a heartbreak (?) And up to this day, it still serves as one of the most iconic songs in the Korean music industry.

Game #1: Identity V

This was one of the first video games I've played, and which I still play to this day. Identity V has a complex and thrilling gameplay which makes it interesting and fun to play. Everything in this game runs off its lore which deepens its uniqueness.

Game #2: Genshin Impact

I first played this game on 2021, in version 1.0 a few weeks after it got released on September. I do casually still play but only when I have time, the very thing I like about this game is the free world exploration. But the thing that I also like is the fashion attached to the culture of each characters.

I like this song because the singer tells us that even if we categorize black as bad and white as good, in people we are all the same, there is no way of telling that someone is truly good nor not as we know and to only judge what's on the surface.

My grandparents loved this song. And I listen to this song while trying to write romantic fanfictions, even though majority of them are horribly written.

Fun Fact: I have the trisonomy 13 gene mutation, which is commonly known as cleft palate!

My first surgery happened when I was 3 months old and my recent one happened in may 2022 which was also my 5th one. In my childhood days, I had a very difficult time in liking myself, appearance wise due to the bullying I got in my whole elementary days. Until now, I still do experience times where I wished that I never had this in the first place. But at the same time, I'm also grateful for the things that it thought me.

This story is also a series, but it focuses on how teenagers see and experience love during the years of adolescence. What I really like about this manga is how self-aware the characters are, how raw and realistic their emotions are. The way the characters don't sugarcoat the negative feelings that they want to express. I recommend this if you want to see life in a different perspective.

This is a story mode-survival-ish horror game. I have only played the origins & 2 version of it. I don't have the guts to play the 3rd one.

Soul Eater

One of my favorite anime since 6th grade. I recommend this if you want a chaotic and entertaining show to watch. The first thing that hooked me into watching this is the art style. My favorite character in this show is Maka Albarn, and she's the one in the middle. She's intelligent and studious, someone who I aspire to be. And the personality that she shows is very relatable to me.

I like these media because I feel happy with it. I like how the way these media help me further express myself with my interests and even emotionally. I like how I can cry with it, laugh, and even gain new knowledge from it.

Q #2: How are these media influencing or affecting me? Is this healthy? If yes, how come? If not, what steps should you take to change it?

These media influences me personally. I like to consume media where I can see that I can learn something from it, I make sure that in the end of the day I have to realize something before moving on. As I consume the media that I love, I tend to like myself more, I tend to accept myself and that it's okay to like things that other's don't. With these media, I gained friends, strengthened my bond with them, and I get to even share interests to my parents that I never knew they also had! This proves that what you take in, shapes you as a person and it helps you grow. And yes, this is healthy, if you look at my media board, it may seem somewhat overwhelming to look at. But it isn't, it just happens that I like a lot of stuff. For me, it's not the content that makes it unhealthy but how you manage and consume it. Media surf responsibly!

Game #4: Danganronpa (THH-V3)

Danganronpa actually has separate games with different featured characters within it, but the plot stays the same but depending on how you decide the flow of the game will also affect the ending of it. This game is similar to the Truman Show, except it's about participants trying to undercover a murder mystery while trying to survive while participating in the killing spree.

I'm currently on episode 574! I love this show and even if it's extremely long, I don't get tired of it. The plot is very interesting and how they venture on to their journey as pirates. Each arc contains life lessons as they end it, characters in this show has their own past which has the capabilities to teach us that even if each one of us is different we can still became friends with strong bonds.
