Jane Adams lived in a town and noticed not everyone lived like her family. She wanted an education so that she could help others. She wanted to build a settlement house in Chicago. She wanted a big house so that she could help other people. The owner of the house, Helen, gave it to her for free. She fed the people, and gave the neighborhood kids something to do. She helped people get jobs. Eventually there were not 1, not 2, but 13 buildings to help people! 

My favorite part was when Helen gave the house for free. Fish in a tree is about a three characters. Ally Nickerson, Keisha Almond, And Albert Dubois. Ally doesn’t like school so much until she gets a new teacher. Mr. Daniels who realizes that she’s different. After a few tests Mr. Daniels finds out that she is dyslexic. He starts to help her with reading because in the book it says the words flutter like butterflies around the page. We find out that Ally likes to play chess. Ally holds on to a page that Mr. Daniels gave to her that says, “possible” and she holds on to it until she gives it to her brother who is opening a shop called “Nickerson auto shop.” Ally becomes class president and students of the month. She learns an easy way to read and becomes excited to go to school instead of hating going to school. My favorite part is when Ally makes the project on the apartment room.

Third Grade Angels is about Suds/George Morton. He has just entered into 3rd grade. He hears about every week there will be a winner of the halo. He does everything possible, he stops calling his sister zippernose. He even saves a dog from hitting a car! But he doesn’t get the halo. Constantina Pappas does. He’s mad until his teacher comes to his door. He finds out that Constantina wrote to the teacher about him saving the dog and got the halo for nominating Suds. She was being selfless. My favorite part is when Suds saves the dog from the car.

There is so much action and it is my my favorite because of the cliff hangers! It surprised me so much. His book is about a 13 year old man named Michael Vey. He has his friends Ostin, and Taylor. He finds out about this academy called “The Elgen Academy” and Taylor get taken by them. They take his mom and he goes to save her; then to learn she’s not there. They do a fight with the whole Elgen and make friends along the way. The beat the Elgen and injured Dr.Hatch along the way. Dr.Hatch is the leader. They almost kill one of the strongest electric children and the story ends here. I love the anime seiries and I finished the book in one day because of how good it is.

This book is about the pro hero “Hawks” shown in the cover he is the man with the wings. He is fighting with the main villains “The league of villans” he is fighting a villain who can duplicate people. He is also fighting a villain who uses fire. Which is HORRIBLE for hawks since he has wings. Hawks defeats the duplicate villain who is named “twice” and breaks his bones with his blade made with feathers. He kills him accidentally and the fire villain “Dabi” who has burns under his eyelids so he can’t cry buses all his power and burns hawks wings fully. He almost kills hawks but he gets away. My favorite part of this book is the artwork and when he’s fighting hawks after twice dies, he has a death smile on his face. He concludes with random things about him that other adults don’t do like giving his dogs voices such as Russian accents. He tells about the people who have helped him with the book. These kids were brave uncovering an artist named Henriette Drummond.

Jin, Alex, and Elvin and seventh graders who meet from Alex hating Jin to being best friends. They all meet when Elvin tried to steal some bread, but when they got a goat pez he comes and becomes friends. Elvins grandfather has been injured in a park and they’re try to figure who hurt him, since he’s in a coma Elvin can’t get in the apartment. The councilman wants to find the paintings and one of the people working for him listens to the kids and gets to the paintings first, but when the main characters go there they get the key in the goat pez but the villains got in . They found the paintings behind the fireplace and try to get them but get tied to pillars. Fortunately the police come and arrest the bad guys, and the councilman loses his job. Six months later, there is built a new exhibit and Jin and Alex are recognized for this all happening because of a school project. My favorite part is when Elvin unties himself and shows Jin and Alex. He goes to see her but one of the demon slayer corps “Hashira” attacks. The book cuts to where we are in the story. They brake out of an infinite house. Two side characters break out before Tanjiro. Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibara. Inosuke can feel a demon. He grew up with boars in the mountains so he has an amazing sense of touch. And goes to attack. Tanjiro see’s and head it’s Inosuke causing his ribs to crack. He still fights but loses and it cuts to them healing and going to the mountain to start a mission. Inosuke and Tanjiro go immediately into the mountain but Zenitsu gets scared. The demon slayers are killing each other cause they are being controlled. Tanjiro fights the demon slayers while Inosuke finds the main demon. They find it and Tanjiro used water breathing 6th form “ blessed rain after the drought” and kills the demon so that it doesn’t feel like they died. Then the story ends when the same hashira goes to the mountain. His sister comes out and uses her demon art “blood” to turn the blood into flames so Tanjiro can kill a demon. Then the story ends.

In this book a guy named Zamas or “Goku Black” is in the future destroying earth. Goku and vegeta the main characters go and fuse to stop him. They unfuse and  start defeating him. The book ends on a cliff hanger.

It is such a good book and I recommend  it. This book is about a month of Franny the main characters life. It was normal until Zebediah went started transferring letters to his dad in secret. One day on a full moon his dad steals a plane called the Argot. Zebediah uses her wish in the night garden to teleport to his dad and they have to save her dad and got the plane down. They take it down and save her dad but not without a concussion.
My favorite part is when at the end they tell the shoulder not to use the outhouse and when old Tom asks why. This book is about Cam and his father.
It is Cams birthday and his father is getting back from his work. But he doesn’t have a present. He gets a cardboard box and goes home. 
His dad says it is the lamest present ever, but Cam is overjoyed. His dad asks him what he wants to make, and cam says a boxer. They name him Bill.
At night Cams dad goes to see what’s making all the noise and all of a sudden Bill throws a nasty left hook at his dad. And then the neighborhood bully, Marcus steals the cardboard maker and makes a whole ARMY of cardboard monsters. They ruin the house and make a dome of cardboard. Cams dad makes a plasma shooter that kills cardboard. And Bill. He made a nuke. They go through fighting and bill misses the giant cardboard Marcus and hits the roof. If blows and rain. Comes pouring down and kills all of the cardboard. Marcus’s dad comes and screams. “WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HOUSE!” And they are forced to build a new one. When building a guy named William comes and says he’s a boxer and has the same scar from “A little fight” in the cardboard dome. He punches in a nail and says. “My friends call me Bill.” Cam is on the verge of tearing up but doesn’t.
Since Cams mother died his dad is providing the worst support for his son. So he goes to his single neighbor in suit with flowers in his hand and then the book ends.

Little Hawk is the main character. On the first day he was born his dad goes to this salt marsh and places the head of a tomahawk in a tree. It cuts to when he gets his tomahawk. He has to go on a three month journey in the winter to become a man. And to find his manitou. He survives but has to face a long wolf and kills it. When he gets back his whole village died of yellow fever. They move to the neighboring tribe that was also being attacked by yellow fever and build a village. He meets John and they become friends. His father is being crushed by a tree and John calls for Little Hawk. Unfortunately Little Hawk gets shot and dies. John becomes a copper and finds out that he can see Little Hawk at a salt marsh. Little Hawk is set to the salt marsh.

On the first day of school he is at the bus stop with his new friends Rohan and Molly when Rohan puts a nose clip on Daniel look over and smells. The most pungent smell ever. Just as he thinks it’s ok a extremely tall kid called Clay speaks. Saying that Daniels the new kid, Molly speaks up telling Clay to stop. Daniel chooses to fight clay but gets destroyed by his overwhelming strength. They get to school where we meet another character Eric. He comes in soaked and late for class and his teacher tells him  to go to the office. After class Molly and Eric are talking and Eric meets Daniel. We fast forward a couple weeks to the field trip when Daniel is on an unfinished part of the observatory and clay and his stinky friend bud come up. They start pushing Daniel to go backwards and he falls of the room into the mountain luckily Eric flys in and saves him. He brings him down to a hideout where he meets the supers and learns the rules. And then he plays some games and the next day Molly comes up with a plan to save Simon an electric kid from losing his powers once he’s 13. He tries it but a cloud of darkness who we later learn the name of takes his powers and now Simon is a ordinary kid. Then we realize Eric is next but he’s getting stronger by the hour and is almost as fast as Molly in flying. Molly and Daniel go to a place that we call the shrouds layer and break out in a fight. Eric goes as fast as light and breaks out into this huge fight that breaks the quarry. They gather all the other supers and break into a huge fight clay doing a ton of the work flinging him into the air and punching him into the air.
