Its always been apart of my life. My Mom has always had a dog her whole life too. We always have had one breed and thats a dachshund. We've always has girl dogs too and only one dog at a time. Since ive been alive I've had 3 dogs. Molly, Heidi and now Annie. Molly died when i was about 3 years old and Heidi died 3 years ago. A week after Heidi died we got Annie. If you are a guy with big muscles you wouldn't be looked at with a small dog, you would assume he has a German Sheppard or a hunting dog.  We have one dog in my family and my dad loves our dog. She is 11 pounds and a ball of fluff that wears sweaters. I think the opposite of dog owners is non pet owners. Cat owners are the opposite. We both have a pet that we love. We both take care of the animal. We just do different things to take care of them. They are equal just like everyone else. We don't have a specific way we dress or act we are just Dog Owners.  Having a dog defines who I am, along with many other things.
