"The Road Not Taken"
Option 2: A story aboutthe speaker

I'm sitting on my old couch, at my old house, next to the window. It is a late hour at night, and the stars are peering at me through the window.

It is 1963 and I am 89 years old.

I close my eyes and suddenly I'm thinking about the poem I wrote "The Road Not Taken". I still remember those woods, I didn’t know which road I should take and I compared this difficult decision to the difficult decisions we need to make in life. I always had trouble at making good decisions.

"Sorry I could not travel both"

I wish we would be able to try all the options and only then make the decision that works best for each one of us.

I'm thinking about my parents. How they made their decisions in life? Was it difficult for them?

"And both that morning equally lay in leaves no step had trodden black"

I chose the way that not many chose. I thought that if I chose this way, it can be different and special.

I don’t know if I was wrong, or maybe made the right decision, and I guess I will never know. Everybody make decisions in life. Sometimes for little things, sometimes for big.

Later in life, after I chose the road that not many have chosen, I felt that all the choices I need to make in my life, have to be different then others choices.

Today, I know this feeling was wrong. Today I understand that I had to chose what is good for me.

I do not feel good with any of my decision, and I wish I had the possibility to change it.

You have to inherit our family business, who will take care of our business if it's not you and besides you can't decide on your future Because you don't know anything about life, you will destroy your life as a singer, we know what's good for you and besides singing is not a profession".

The speaker: ""But it's my future you can’t decide what I will do later in life, Why do you always have to take everything I say to you in a negative way once in your life you may not agree with me… What kind of parents you I'd rather be adopted than you to be my parents because parents are not supposed to devastate the lives of their children On the contrary they should make them happy, and instead you are miserable in my life"

The speaker: these parents just bother me , I'll never forgive them for what they do for me.

After the quarrel with his parents, the speaker decided to leave his home and break the tie with his parents And build his career as a singer at another country because he wanted his parents did not know about it and that they will not to be disturbed.
