Although the math concepts may go over the heads of the very youngest kids, they will love studying the humorous illustrations of numerous bunnies, and as such could connect to the gtrade 4 science unit, UNDERSTANDING LIFE SYSTEMS HABITATS AND COMMUNITIES.<br><br></div>]]></description>

This would be a great book to work through for review of multiple skills (it is a little heavier on a number sense focus) and to support building problem solving strategies. With this story of an unconventional man whose creative expressions revolved around math, science, engineering and technology.." - Description on Amazon<br><br>Nice to show students the history of graphs and charts. <br><br><strong><em>Children's Picture book about Florence Nightingale.</em></strong><br>She was one of the first people to use graphs and charts persuasively. They helped people to see the problem in hospitals, which brought about change. (Not sure that this is the best book, there might be other books with more information)<br><br>Nice to show students the real life application of charts and graphs to show data visually to bring about change.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
