Students will be grouped by grade level 

Classes will be inclusion classes

There will not be any pull out to another class unless it is for extra therapy time with speech, OT, or PT

 Classes will be a 1:4 Teacher student ratio 

Classes will not exceed 12 children  

The school will cover groups k-12

Classes will be general education teachers until the students get to 5th grade. 

In 5-12 students are expected to change classes for each subject area

If students need a para or a nurse these will be offered

Teachers will use technology that they need to reach all students

Teachers will be able to use extra teachers/helpers in their class to reach other students that they cannot personally meet with every day

Teams in each grade level will have exposure to field professionals in order to help teachers come up with solutions to new problems as they may arise such as language barriers with parents/students the teacher can turn to their grade level head of spanish or other foreign languages. 

Teachers may use computers to have students turn in classwork so long as all students have equal opportunity to do so or by turning in hand written assignments 

Must be different options for turning in work which will allow the student to express what they've learned in the best way they feel is possible

Students will have a personalized IEP for those who do need it 

IEPs will be updated every 6 months. 

There will be parent meetings and open houses frequently throughout the year

There will be general curriculum for 5-12 grade

Teachers for k-4 will have to have a general curriculum but find ways to incorporate all of the goals of each student using their IEP

Teachers will use UDL to incorporate all students in their lesson plans

Teachers/TA's/Assistants and any other personnel in class will have to work as a team to meet each and every individual student needs especially those considered special ed and also those who may need extra help

Smartboards

Set of ipads for each class

A set of 4 computers for each class 

Will have calculators available for all students

There will be EBooks and audiobooks available for all necessary books and textbooks

Make sure to have closed captioning available

We will have the means to have speakers and microphones for teachers so all students can hear loud and clear not just the ones in the front

Have noise cancelling headphones availble for those students who would like them to concentrate

Teachers can use clickers to allow students to answer without having to be shy or embarrassed but the teacher knows the child understands or doesn't understand.

Assessments will be given using multiple medias such as a listening, writing, reading, video etc portions

Teachers will be required to use at least 3 different types of medias for testing purposes and must find the best way to reach ALL of their students 

Teachers may use any assessments necessary to guide their students and  to help with IEPs

There will be semester testing in which the teachers come up with tests to collectively come up with one in the end of december and also in may 

The students must pass these grade level tests to go on to the next grade  

NO state testing or standardized tests
