they found a 25 cailber shall case but there wasnt any gun powder in it. A therory is that tom and his friend was playing with a gun and the gun went off. That explains the blood on the door. But me personally i dont think thats what happened

he was extremely unprofessional in his job 

He withheld information from the family. 

He returned the car way too early, which ade them think he really didnt do a good job of investigating

It sais he had really bad anxity, but he could of just been saying that so people feel bad for him

He may have planted the phone in the field

Really there isnt enough evidence to say what happened to him. There is some many missing blanks in the case its hard to piece things together. I feel like the mother didnt have anything to do with it. But that sheriff? He seems sketchy to me. He took it as far as quieting his job. But i can kind of feel him on that, he kept getting accused of killing this kid so he had to get out of this hot situation. Its just crazy to me how he didnt even tell the family information about their loved one. If you ask me thats a real Jerk move he pulled. Then the cellphone? It was literally in pristine condition after people was hacking away at the grass. That makes me think that he placed the phone out there himself. Its also weird how his facebook was deleted. Maybe he could of deleted it before all this happened? Honestly there is no telling what happened with this case.
