         <title>Executive Order 9066</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Excutive Order 9066 was an order sent by Franklin D. Roosevelt that stated that all Japanese Americans were to be sent to internment camps. It was issued after the attack on Pearl Harbor when the Americans became extremely paranoid and scared of the Japanese. FDR adminstered it for the safety of the country to prevent against Japanese spies. It extremely impacted the&nbsp; Japanese people, who were put through horrible conditions and suffering. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The relocation process for the Japanese families began with soldiers forcing families out of their homes. They were then put on train cars and taken from the West to the internment camps in Arkansas.&nbsp;The camps themselves were surronded with barbed wire and had guards with machine guns watching over them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Korematsu vs the US was a Supreme Court case in which the reloacting of Japanese families to internment camps was declared constitutional and legal. Although it was ruled legal, the camps were extremely brutal and the US apologized with its actions later.</div>]]></description>
