Sometimes when I play, I neglect dynamics and using my full bow. 
My second personal goal is to play with intonation. When I am playing with a class, I have a tendency to mask my mistakes. Being in a trio will force me to play the right notes. I selected these two goals for myself because these are things that I personally notice that I struggle with. There were specific songs that we were struggling with, such as Colors of the Wind, that did not sound so great. During practice, the song was coming along, and we took it at a slower tempo so that we would be able to play the notes correctly. We still struggled with the first violin playing the higher notes in tune. My personal struggle with that song was counting. As a group we previously struggled with the song Crown of Roses, but when we performed it at the Art Show it sounded great. Canon in D, our longest song, sounded the best because of how much practice we put into it before and after school. La Follia, Trio, and Toy Train all sounded great with a few mistakes here and there. Nerves defiantly played a mild part in both mine and my partners' performances. All in all, the experience of playing as a trio with two of my violin playing friends was an amazing experience.
