         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my experiment, I tested how long a fire could survive without oxygen. I used different enclosures(domes/cups) for a candle. I saw that the size of the cups changed my results because the bigger cups had oxygen floating around in the cup, so the fire died slower. The smaller cups held less oxygen, so the fire died faster.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I took two cars and placed them on a ramp that I made with my school books, I put a quarter on one of the cars and a dime on the other car and raced them down the books. the car that had the dime was the winner, it went the longest distance.          <description><![CDATA[<div>For my experiment, I made different types of paper airplanes and measured how far they went. I made three paper airplanes and labeled them Plane No. 1, Plane No. 2, and Plane No. 3. I made a chart and measured how far they went by inches. I predicted No. 2 would go farthestNo. 1 went the least farthest and only flew about 150 inches each time. No. 2 went about 200 inches each time. No. 3 went the farthest and went about 230 inches each time. So in conclusion, Plane No. 3 went farthest.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>for my experiment i got a water bottle and then i put sparkling water  in the bottle and then i put salt in the ballon and twisted  the balloon then i put it on the bottle and i untwisted  it and this happened  when i put half of the salt i put in the first try the sparkling water lost its carbonation  and the balloon blew up very small. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my experiment I did the water twist. I got a bottle of water that wasn't entirely filled. I then poked 5 holes on the side of the bottle, and rubbed my finger on the holes. I hypothesized that instead of the water flowing out individually the water would "twist" together. Each time I tried this experiment the water twisted together. The force at work, when you run your finger through the streams of water, is called cohesion. Cohesion happens when molecules of a substance stick to each other. On each test I put a smaller amount of holes and the water still twisted together. This is my independent variable. My Dependent Variable is that the water will twist together. Concluded, water will twist together when one's finger is rubbed upon holes on a bottle's side due to a force called cohesion.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my experiment, I measured how long it would take differently sized coins to hit the floor. I used a silver dollar that weighed 26 g, a sacagawea dollar that weighed 8 g, a nickel that weighed 5 g, and a dime that weighed 2 g. I weighed them using our food scale and timed it using a cell phone stopwatch. I concluded that they would all hit the ground at the same time. The silver dollar hit the ground in 71 ms, 75 ms, and 72 ms. The sacagawea dollar hit the floor in 71 ms, 70 ms, and 63 ms. The nickel hit the floor in 61 ms, 76, and 70 ms. The dime hit the floor in 61 ms, 80 ms, and 73 ms. I think the differences may have been because it is hard to start and stop the watch precisely by hand.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my experiment I put marshmallows in a cup I put the big marshmallows in one cup and small marshmallows in a another cup and then I waited to the next day. In the morning I went to see how the marshmallows  reacted the big marshmallow soaked up all the water like a sponge. The small marshmallows only sucked up a little of the water. And I can see that the water took all the sugar out of the marshmallows. Now I know that you can not make a marshmallow small in the water in one day.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In my experiment I used a tennis ball, a golf ball and a marble. I made a  catapult and analyzed how the different balls and properties went farther and how the others didn't go as far. before i did all this i came up with a hypothesis which was that the biggest balls would go farther but after i ran multiple tests i concluded that it was the complete opposite, the smaller balls went farther!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I wondered "If I make paper airplanes that are different sizes, will they fly different distances?"&nbsp;<br><br>I thought so, but I wanted to be sure.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>Then I made my investigation. This is what I wrote:<br><br><br>You will need paper, a pen, and scissors.<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>First, cut your papers into three different lengths.<br><br><br></div><div>After that, fold two corners on the top half of each piece of paper so that they meet in the middle of the paper.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Then, fold each piece of paper in half on the crease in between the first folds.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Next, label your airplanes A B C.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Finally fly your airplanes, but make sure to fly each airplane three times to make sure the answer is correct. Throw them the same amount of strength.<br><br><br>Next, I completed my investigation&nbsp;<br><br>I finally concluded that making paper airplanes different lengths does change how far they go. I also concluded that the smaller the airplane's length the farther it will go. This is likely, because it has less weight.<br><br><br></div><div><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

While building my two catapult structures (one big and one small) I hypothesized which would go further when the marshmallow's were launched.          <title>Lila&#39;s Experiment; Surface Tension</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I tested on Surface Tension so I could see what I had to do to make it visible to me. I got a paper plate and sprinkled pepper on the surface of the water. Then, I got a Q-tip with dish soap on the tip. I put the Q-tip lightly on the surface of the water, and the pepper moved away. This is because the water molecules want the tension to keep going, and so it moves away from the dish soap, carrying the pepper with it. I concluded that it would not be visible to me if the pepper had not been on the water; if it wasn't, the water would move away by itself, and I wouldn't see it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>So I decided to go for a project like the Marshmellow catapult I did a Tootsie Roll cata pult and found 1 whole Tootsie Roll whent 7 ft 1/2 Tootsie Roll whent 5 ft 2 in and lastly 1/4 whent 6 ft. My hypothesis was the sallest would go farthest but it did not it whent in the middle. (I am sorry I was unable to get a picture of the project)&nbsp;My list of stuff a few Tootsie Rolls  (I used the wrapers to mark the spots), Plastic or metal spoon, and a glue stick</div>]]></description>
