         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>I can explain the differences of the 4 Anatomical Joints , I learned this the best way by the kami notes and when Ms.Pila explained it and wrote out the notes with us. Also the way she color coated things and the difference between them really helped.<br><br>Secondly, I can list the 6 characteristics of a synovial joint, I learned this  best by the hand notes we took and colored the different parts of joint such as the Cartilage on the bones and the fluid in between them.<br><br>Another thing i can do is,I can determine the technical regions for the areas of the body I learn this best by the kami worksheet and when Ms.Pila would go over it, Kami is probably the best way that i can learn this stuff. Also The way the notes are color coded help a lot also.<br><br>Lastly, I can understand how Skeletal muscles are named i learned this best by the notes that were shared with us by Ms.pila and also the kahoot that we did it helped a lot.<br><br><br><br><br><br></strong><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Chain of Survival  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can recall the steps of activating EMS and chain of survival because we did a assignment of where listed the steps of the chain of survival and we watched a Ed puzzle on it. The chain of survival is divided in two different ones the Adult Chain of Survival and Pediatric Chain of Survival. Adult chain of survival has 5 steps, starts off with Recognizing symptoms &amp; activating EMS which is calling 911. The second step is to preform early CPR then defibrillate with AED. The 4th step is advanced life support which is s a set of life-saving protocols and skills that extend basic life support to further support the circulation. Final step is Post Cardiac Arrest Care. When dealing with Pediatric, the 1st step is to prevent arrest which is the most important step. After you must preform high quality arrest while this is happening you must ask anyone near you to activate EMS(call 911). EMS will then do advanced life support. Final step is Post Cardiac Arrest Care. By knowing and understanding the five steps in the chain can vastly reduce mortality rates. <br><br></div><div><br></div><div> </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can explain the various of environmental injuries because of the Google Slide project we did. I got to learn what heat exhaustion is which is, a heat related illness that can occur after you've been exposed to high temperatures. There is two types of heat exhaustion, water depletion and salt depletion. Symptoms of heat exhaustion are confusion, dizziness, fainting,vomiting, and sweating. I also got know how to prevent it, like staying inside and keeping hydrated.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can explain universal precautions, because of discussion post we did and the video we watched that explained to us why it is important. <br>The main parts about Universal Precautions are to use barrier protection for example you need to cover up any open wounds. You need to wear gloves when you are handling any body fluids. These are you used to protect the individual from the blood and any bacteria or HIV it may have. You also would need to wear a face mask, and use caution when handling any sharp objects such as needles. After you would need to discard any of the contaminated materials. Clean the are and disinfect everything. You also must wash your hands with soap and water because you are in great risk of receiving any infections. Finally wash clothing in hot water if any bacteria or infection the blood could have wont stay on the clothing. It is very important follow the universal precautions because they are intended to prevent parenteral, mucous membrane, and nointact skin exposures of health care workers to blood-borne pathogens. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Soft tissue anatomy of  the ankle </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can identify the anatomy for the ankle. One way that really helped me learned was the website "get body smart". It was another way to learn more information about all the muscular system and more. I really like how it would have videos so we were able to see the flexion. The ankle joint is formed by 3 bones tibia,fibula, and the talus of the foot. The ankle joint is also a synovial joint. The muscles connected to the Achilles tendon is soleus and gastrocnemius, the movement is has is plantar flexion. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can identify the anatomy for the knee from the kami notes. Since i can note and draw on the photo it makes it easier to learn the anatomy of the knee. The knee joint is the synovial joint that is connected to the femur,tibia, and patella. The femur is the largest bone in our body which then connects to the patella (sesmoid bone) around the patella is articulate cartilage of the femur which decreases friction. below is the medial and lateral meniscus which shocks absorption and increases surface area. Then comes the tibia the larger bone, and the fibula. I am able to remember the difference between the two because of "little fib" for the fibula. They connect the knee to the ankle</div>]]></description>

         <title>Soft tissue anatomy for the shoulder  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can name out the anatomy for the Shoulder, I love doing the Kami notes because it allows me to learn more visually. By marking up the actual joints it makes it easier to remember where each location is. The main structure is the Humeral which is connected to the Humeral Head and it allows to articulate to the Glenoid Cavity of the Scapula. There is also the Greater Tubercle and medial to that is the Lesser Tubercle which is smaller, in between them there is the Intertubercle Cavity. The 4 shoulder joints are the sternoclavicular, acromioclavicular, scapulothoracis joints, and glenohumeral joint. The bones that make up the shoulder is the scapular, clavicle, and the humerus. </div>]]></description>
