Definition- when the government has complete control over you.
The propaganda they used made it look like the people they hate weren't human they made them look like animals and it is a lot easier to hate something inhuman compared to human.
For terror they all had something different from people who would just go and kill some had purges. They used fear of the government to make them listen and do what they want.
The difference of back then and now days is they were scared of there government and weren't free compared to now days we are the government and we have freedom and we don't have to be scared of the government.

Wellentin, Loretta "Between the Wars."

- Mussolini was a fascist Prime Minister for Italy, and he was also a dictator in 1922, and then in 1943 he was overthrown. He did a lot of damage to Italy, but he also did some good things to Italy too.

- Mussolini rose to power, because he was one of the leaders of fascism at the beginning of World War 1. He rose to power, because he thought that he would be the only person in Germany to do something different and help Italy during the elections.

- Mussolini and Hitler had a dictatorial relationship, because Hitler liked Italy's military, so they established a political relationship. Since Mussolini was a dictator he had a pretty good relationship with dictators from different countries.

- The Blackshirts are members of armed Italian forces and they were under Mussolini's control. They also would always wear actual black shirts under their armor. They were important, because Mussolini would use them for violence and make people fear them so they can take control countries easier.

- Mussolini would rig the elections so he can win and he also used propaganda so he can persuade the citizens to vote for him. Mussolini saved Italy by making the economy right again, and also by rebuilding their military to make it stronger.

- A right wing system of government and its part of an authoritarian government. Fascism could be negative because it went against a lot of laws, rules, and also political views. Fascism is also something that Mussolini is known for in Italy and also as a leader.

- Italy attacked Ethiopia in 1935, and this was important, because Italy needed to expand their land which would help them during other wars and have better position to attack.

- Mussolini died on April 28, 1928, and he died by anti-fascists so the people who didn't believe his ways and beliefs. After he died many people spoke freely and they knew that they will not get punished any more because of his death. The death of Mussolini didn't just do bad things, but it also did good things too.
