For car duty, please ask your 6th period class to be ready to leave the classroom as soon as the bell rings for dismissal. It is imperative that each teacher on car duty be there and in place on time for car procedures to run correctly.

For car duty, make sure students and their parents are aware that the first lane, which is closest lane to the school, is for cars only. SUVs and trucks must line up in the second and third lanes. Some of our students are not tall enough to see over those larger vehicles if they are in the first lane.

Two things to add:
1. Teachers need to arrive at car duty as soon as possible and be made aware the safety concerns. Cars cannot move out without teachers in place.
2. Suggestion for the beginning of school:
Add a flyer with car line procedures to the registration bags or as part of pick up along with buses - particularly for 7th grade. Also, post car line procedures on the website.
