Midwest landmark

IN second grade we are doing something called a Midwest landmark. First you are going to get your landmark then you will research yo landmark. So after that you will have to make a poster. Now I am going to tell you a little about my landmark. Well first I need to tell you what my Midwest landmark is right? My landmark is Indiana Dunes and is located in Chesterton, IN 46304. The dunes nearly 250 feet high.

What I am learning in second grade is geometry witch is my favorite type of math. What is so exciting about geometry you ask? What I like about geometry is that it stretches my knowledge. What my favorite subject in geometry is identifying triangles.

I can teach you a little bit about my favorite triangle. My favorite triangle is the right angle triangle witch has 1 square corner.

What is a square corner you ask? A square corner is when 2 lines meet at a corner.

Midwest Landmark

In 2nd grade we are making Midwest landmark posters! First, we had to choose 5 landmarks and we would be given one. Next, we had to fill out a Google slides about our landmark. My landmark is the Corn Palace, in South Dakota. After we finished that, we had to start making a poster about our landmark. Mine has a ear of corn in the center and lines making sections. I can't wait to see everyone's poster when it's done!!
