This bakery cafe are serving freshly brewed espresso,  special drinks, teas, cakes western food, snacks and others. There are morning and afternoon shift for their staff. I worked for the afternoon shift as the first day. The first day in La Promise, the senior staff had brought me around to recognize and familiar with the worked place. There are coffee bar, cold kitchen, hot kitchen, and cutlery station which each of the staff need to familiar with. The senior staff told me, we need pay full attention when work, because once mistake happen other station will be affected. I am learning how to receive the order from customer and key-in to the system today. Besides that, I am learned on how to prepare the topping for the cake. Then, I wipe the crockery and cutlery which send from the kitchen after washed and put its back to its own place. Half hour before closing, we have to count the amount of every flavour cake left and record on the report. They are lot of rules there, and the rules set is to make the staffs there look very professional and unflappable. Besides that, concentration is very important to reduce mistake and double check things that you are not sure for the purpose to make no mistake.
