It was Nazrin’s birthday. İsmail, her best friend, wanted to surprise her with a cake. He went to the kitchen early in the morning. İsmail followed a recipe, but he made one big mistake. He added salt instead of sugar!

When the cake was ready, it looked beautiful. İsmail was very proud and happy. At the party, everyone sang “Happy Birthday” Nazrin smiled and tasted the cake. Her face changed quickly. “It’s salty” she shouted.

İsmail felt terrible. Nazrin was angry at first, but then she started to laugh. Don’t worry, she said, it’s a funny memory

There are two friends in the town. Harriet is naïve. Harriet doesn’t know Robert’s real feeling because Robert is mean and jealous man. Robert is jealousy, because Harriet is good at her academic life and teachers love her so much, praise her.

One day Harriet invite her classmates to the birthday party, also Robert. Robert is so jealousy, has foolery and gets angry, everybody gives attention to Harriet.

Robert thinks about this situation and decides to add salt and pepper to birthday cake.

After dance, Harriet blows the candle. Harriet takes a slice of cake, feels something strange. When she eats the cake, she feels a strong strange taste. It is salty and bitter. Harriet stays quietly, can’t say shout, an everybody scares. And Harriet is so angry because her birthday cake is damaged.

Robert was very happy to see her.She cut the cake and gave him the first piece.He ate it and said it was wonderful.After that, everyone else ate the cake, but no one liked it because it was very that moment, Harriet realized that her cake was bad, but Robert ate it because she had baked it.

Harriet was happy because she knew Robert was still a good friend after all that time.
