The saddest moment for me in chapter 6 was the moment they were forced to run. They spend a long time running for twenty kilometers. Elise was very tired and had no more energy to run, but he was trying because he was afraid that he died and he didn’t want to separate with his father. The saddest moment for me in chapter 7 was the moment that the guard prepared to throw Elise's father from the train, they thought he had already died. Elise didn’t believe that he dad was dead, he tried to push him harder with his tears, finally he opened his eyes. If he didn’t open his eyes, he would fall from the train even though he was still breathing.

The saddest moment in chapter 6 has to be the fact where people got shot down if they stopped running, including the part of where the son (Zalman) of Rabbi Eliahu had died and only died to free himself from the burden. There was also another part of chapter 6 that was sad, it was when Juliek played the violin. He played the violin as if that's going to be the last time he'll ever play it, soon after he was found hunched over dead.. next to him his trampled violin.

The saddest part in chapter 7 was the part where an SS officer threw bread into the cattle carts, many people fought and killed each other.. but the most saddest part was when they killed a father and a son just because the father took the bread for himself and his son.

The most saddest part in chapter 6 is that I was feeling that why should a guard be this harsh that too let their own prisoner to run on snow causing to make their foot very numbed making them can't really move their feet because it's been numb. And the other one is that guard should be protecting the prisoner not making them getting to the states where it's involved permanent damage or death specifically.

For chapter 7 is that guard should not be doing such kind of disgrace is that they would likely throw the dead body out of the train, but they should not be doing that because it being a disrespectful kind of person to the dead body, if I were the guard What I would be doing is that I would take the body cover with left out white cloth, then when we get to the end of the train ride I would take the covered body to cementations, then take the ash to thrown in the ocean which on of traditional way to respect the body. Or I would take the covered body to dig a whole put the body inside, then I take a empty to write the dead person name, and then I would be putting the sign in front of the corpse to show that this person is being well preserve underground.

The saddest moment in chapter 6 was The SS guards makes the prinsoners from the concentration camps run, and they run through snow. While they run if they pause then the SS guards will shot the prisoner. Zalman was trying to run until he got exhaust and then he got shot by them which makes Elie feel sad for him. And the prisoners had a really hard time while running.

The saddest moment for Chapter 7 well while waiting for the train for an hour then later they got on the train. As we know in the train when people died, they will throw the corpse outside the train and plus the amount of survivors are getting little by little and the number of survivors that survived the train is only 12 members who survived.

the saddest moment in chapter 6 is that the SS guards make the prisoners run from the concentration camps through the snow plus it is making their foot numb so they can not run faster so the prisoners had a hard time while running through the snow. if they stop or pause the SS guards will shot the prisoner. and the place that Elie's father tells Eli to not sleep or he could die.

The saddest moment in chapter 7 is after the transport train stopped in the middle of the field they throw the dead bodies off the train when people were killing each other, an act no ordinary person should be able to commit casually, for a mere piece of bread. plus when a son beating his father for bread. of the 100 men who had gotten on the train only 12 people survived. during the last day of their journey, they were crying yelling, and screaming.

The saddest moment in chapter 6 is when the SS guards let all the prisoners to run from the concentration camps through snow, making their foot numb. They have to keep on running as fast as they can not to get shot or fall/stop that other running from the back might step and trembled on them until they die. It just like Zalman who had a terrible stomach cramps while running and cannot continues until he fall on the ground.

The saddest moment in chapter 7 is when people in the train keep fighting for bread when the SS guards only threw some bread in the train. Many peoples have died from this, among 100 peoples in the train only 12 peoples have survived.

In my opinion, the saddest moment in chapter 6 was when all of the Jewish prisoners had to run and run even though they had fatigue and was breathless. Especially about Elie, he was half-asleep when he was running and his foot was numb because of the snow which I think is sad because he had to run for about 20 kilometers. The same thing goes for Zalman, where he had a stomach ache and he thought his stomach was bursting so he slowed down and he was supposedly run over and dead. All of them had to run in order not to get killed and live on.

The saddest moment in chapter 7 was when all the prisoners had to be in one train with 100 people. This led to people suffocating and dying. During the ride, there was no food at all, so their only choice was to eat snow and let it melt to become water which did help them survive. Going ahead in the chapter, there was one time where bread was thrown in the cattle carts and some prisoners had to fight for their own life to eat the bread. So, this is what I think was most saddening in chapter 7.
