The trees, flowers, fruits, branches, and barks speak, they listen, they express, they communicate. Every home garden holds stories of care, growth, and a deep connection with nature. Playing music with the things surrounded in garden itself a pleasure.*Our Glorians in our school garden exploring the music therapy.

We had great fun taking photos and listening to sounds. It was hard to find a picture which captured sounds but this has a good mix of the natural and the man made in our landscape.

Sounds of the forest

It is an example of urban revitalization, where the past meets the present, and visitors can discover the beauty of the fortress in a friendly natural setting.

Following up with that, the students were guided to recreate those sounds without instruments. Such as the use of claps, whistles, snaps, etc.

Finally, the class 5 students were given a chance to listen to that audio and create an art work inspired by it.

Here is a lovely presentation, showcasing the activity in detail.

Overall this activity was a huge success and the perfect opportunity for our students to explore the connection between nature, music and art.

I learned how engaging it was for the children to look at their environment differently e.g.close, far, above & below. Also it inspired me to consider Outdoor learning in a different and sustainable way.

Sharing our work on the Padlet was really interesting. I enjoyed looking at the other educators diverse approaches.

We worked as a small group creating sounds using our bodies, voices and objects around the classroom - tape, pencils, car wheels, doors among other things.

Very proud and honored! It is such an inspiration and an incredible opportunity for my learners to be included alongside other innovative designers.

We learned how to take pictures in nature, discover new things in the world, how to make noises with our mouths.

We would like the next project to be about talking to other countries, finding out about who they are as people, weather, history of countries. We would like to share ideas.

We learnt to "hear" the sounds that surround us, even whne we think that nobody is around. We learnt to use our bodies and imagination into reproducing them.

Well, we always love seeing what other schools in the world look like. So we knew, that we would take part in a "trip" around the world whre we could see and "hear" where our peers spend their time learning and having fun.

We decided to work only as a class. We shared the sounds that should be reproduced (bell ringing, cars passing form the road over the school, cats miaowing, leavers, waters from the taps running, balls). We really loved collaborating on how to make the final result better

We always love being and working with other schools. It helps us see and learn about other countries and how our peers live and learn.

We would like to learn more about traditional music and folk tales.

We’re thrilled to share the wonderful success of our Soundscape Project exhibition! The showcase of student work drew an incredible response from parents and visitors, who were amazed by the creativity and dedication on display.

It was heartwarming to see not only the admiration for the students’ projects but also the appreciation for the efforts of the entire team. The joy and encouragement we received remind us how important it is to give children opportunities to shine.

We couldn’t be happier that our young talents are getting a chance to present their work globally, inspiring confidence and creativity along the way.
