•Know: The activity that helped me the most this week would be presenting my F.M.P in a presentation format. It helped me by strengthening my verbal and communication skills as I was speaking in front of someone. This activity also helped my understanding of the importance of Pre-production work and planning before the final shoot. I now know that for future photography shoots I will put as much effort in the planning before hand as I will with the actual project.

•Do: The new skills I applied to my work would be time management, organisation, and pre-planning. I completed the task by making a PowerPoint presentation, in which I added many details to. A barrier I hit would be maintaining the enthusiasm to actually make a PowerPoint presentation as I was originally just going to talk over my F.M.P, so I had to change my plan. I was very proud of the presentation I made and conducted as it included everything I needed it to.

Feedback:
Sarah N: "In Jackson's FMP I see that there has been a well thought out interpretation of the 'rule of thirds' throughout the majority of his images. You can see his models are carefully positioned either on the left, right of centre, which varies carefully depending on the subjects in the photo. The balance between coloured and monotonous photos also creates an interesting selection to view."

Cliff L: "Good interesting final images. Good compositions. good use of b&w and colour images. good locations/ backgrounds

•Improve:
Feedback:
Sarah N: "Perhaps you could experiment with Adobe Photoshop and enhance a few of the images."

Cliff L: "Could make more obvious fashion." Made a magazine. Editing Photoshop.

•Show: https://spark.adobe.com/page/ASbnP3NUgXGLD

.•Know: The activity that helped my knowledge the most was making the shot list, as I finally got a feel of what I needed to do for my final shoot. I also planned a lot of test shots, which will commence next monday and tuesday. I developed my understandings much more clearly after making risk assessments and a load of shot lists, as I now know what it is I'm photographing. I now know how to annotate my own images, thanks to Dave's workshop. It helped by giving me an opportunity to practise my shots, and see what looks good for my F.M.P.

•Do: A new skill that I applied to my work would be when I was doing Dave's workshop, and I had to find my own images and annotate them, while also comparing them to another image that is similar to the ones I took. I completed the task by making multiple test shot sheets, and annotated the images that I took with great detail, and explained what I like about each individual image. The barrier that I hit would be when I became a bit lazy and didn't want to do Dave's workshop, however I overcame this and completed the task by doing multiple shot sheets, then uploaded them to Showbie. I am very proud of how many test shots I got that you can see on my Showbie Dave's workshop task.

•Improve: I would improve upon my focus, as quite a lot I got carried away and didn't have much to do, so I decided to not do my work and talk to peers, however I didn't have much work to do anyway considering i've completed most of the pre-production. The skills that I learnt would be doing the test shots, and seeing how much they count towards your final grade. So I will utilise this and get even more test shots.

•Show: This is one of my test shot sheets, there are 4 in total with similar amount of detail as this one.

•Know: The activity that helped out my knowledge the most was finishing up task 4, because I got a lot of ideas for my photo shoot as I was confused for a while but now I have the idea to use studio lighting and other things like that. I developed my skills by finding new photographer's images to breakdown and annotate. I now know how to properly deconstruct an image to the best of my ability.

•Do: A new skill that I applied to my work would be using my knowledge of deconstructing images, and I deconstructed a total of 12 images, and I used a lot of information for every single one. I completed the task by deconstructing the images and by finding photographer's work. A barrier I hit would be getting confused and tired of doing the same thing 12 times, it made me very unmotivated to continue, however I overcame the urge to quit and powered through my task. I am very proud of all the annotating and deconstructing I completed, there is so much information.

•Improve: I have yet to start my task 5, as I wasn't in for a lot of this week due to sickness. I need ti improve on my attendance and my speed of starting the tasks, i'll do this by working harder and finishing other things at home. I have learnt how to deconstruct an image, and I will use that for my final F.M.P as I may need to deconstruct a few images of my own.

•Show: This is my completed task 4

•Know: The activity that helped my knowledge the most would be when I was deconstructing the photographer Jiro Konami. it helped me develop my skills much further as I found more ideas and techniques that I will add to my F.M.P. I now know so much about Jiro, like he was the photographer to the big brand known as Supreme, and he's photography has been used in hundreds of magazines world wide, but most popularly in Japan. I also now know how to properly annotate a picture, as Cliff made a power point on deconstructing an image.

•Do: A new skill that I applied would be how to deconstruct an image and annotate it. I completed some of task 4 by using my own range of knowledge, and some of the range of knowledge that I learnt only this week, and I implemented it into my work as done many annotations on different pictures. work is not yet completed 100%. A barrier that I hit was me getting confused on the task at first because I was a bit a head of everyone else and was stuck sitting there not doing much. eventually cliff explained the task and it became much clearer. I am very proud of the pictures I annotated and deconstructed as I found a range of camera techniques, I explained the use of locations, and I even mentioned the place the photos were taken.

•Improve: An improvement I need to work on his the speed of this task, as I tend to become lazy after deconstructing a picture, it's like I don't have the motivation to continue after one is completed. I really need to change this and to do that I am going to put 100% focus into all my given work, as I notice I get easily distracted. A new skill that I learnt would be how to deconstruct an image, and I will use that in my F.M.P so the pictures become more easy to understand and so that I can break down what I've done good, and what I need to improve upon.

•Show: This is my entire task 4, not a fully completed task but still a majority of information here.

•Know: The activity that helped my knowledge the most was finishing up my written proposal, as I had to post pone it due to the fact that I couldn't find it for a while. I finished it to a good standard and i included everything I needed to. It helped me because I got to decide on my final idea and develop a couple of more ideas, and planned out what to do on paper. I now know for definite what my final major project is going to be based on.

•Do: A new skill that I applied would be during Dave's workshop when I got to work with two other people in the class to do some photography. I applied the skill of team work and the skill of photography. I completed the task by planning everything with the two others, and then going out to photograph anything of interest that we found. The only barrier I hit was that I would have liked to have worked alone with this. I took a lot of good quality photos so i'm happy with that.

•Improve: An improvement that I need to work on would be my concentration, as I have been getting easily distracted lately, but besides that I don't really have any other improvements as i'm working hard.
Week 2: Task 2: Mind Map & Proposal

•Know: The activity that helped me the most was the creation of the mind map, or mind maps in my case as I was still confused on what to do for my F.M.P. I learnt a lot from making the mind maps as I tried to add less detail than I used in the mood boards, and the reason I done this was so I could narrow down what i'm going to put into my written proposal. I now know that mind maps don't have to be overly complicated at all, and you just need to add details that remind you on what your doing, and how you do it.

•Do: A new skill that I applied to my work was pin pointing certain key aspects of my mood boards, and shorten the important parts and put them into my mind maps so that I could make a written proposal as well as I could. I completed the mind maps by thinking of the main topics and ideas I had for my F.M.P and I put them all into brief detail, however I used all of my main aspirational ideas. I did hit a barrier when it came to making the proposal itself. I couldn't find the template for it and it's now caused me to have to do the written proposal next week, which to be fair isn't too late. I am very proud of the fact that I completed two detailed mind maps, when we were only suppose to do one for our F.M.P.

•Improve:What improvements do you need to work on? What skills have you used/learnt that you plan to apply into your work next session?
I need to work on my speed of work, in my opinion the details fine, and I have enough quantity. it's not a huge issue, however i'd like to be able to finish faster and not get so carried away so then i'll be able to finish my F.M.P as soon as. I learnt how to properly make a mind map and use brief detail to explain a lot of things. I will put what I learnt into my future tasks, and I can now write a fully detailed proposal and I can then start that next week.

•Show: These are my mind maps.

•Know: The activity that helped my knowledge the most was actually making the 4 mood boards that I completed. The reason making these expanded my knowledge was because using pictures and annotating them really showed me and gave me ideas for my F.M.P, I now feel more confident in what i'm doing, and I learnt how to properly annotate the pictures i chose, and I explained my ideas in full detail. I now know what I want to do for my F.M.P as I didn't know what to do for it to begin with.

•Do: A new skill that applied to my work was annotating the mood boards, and in full detail. I used a range of skills including research into photographers to help inspire me, and so I could see the techniques they use. I enjoyed seeing Jiro Konami's photography with street style and fashion, so I'm going to use his sorts of shots in my F.M.P. The only barrier I hit was probably coming up with 4 fully detailed mood boards, as I only had two ideas to begin with, but then I looked into my interests and I found the last two. I am proud to say that Cliff said my mood boards are distinction level pieces, and I worked very hard on them and even added personally details to them, I even explained the multiple cameras that I'm going to be using for the F.M.P.

•Improve:What improvements do you need to work on? What skills have you used/learnt that you plan to apply into your work next session?
An improvement that I need to work on is my motivation overall. I felt very lazy and I feel as if I could've finished my mood boards earlier that what I did. I will apply my skills to my next few tasks as I have taken away from this how to annotate with a lot details, and I will use the use of pictures as I noticed I become much more engaged when seeing pictures.

•Show: These are my mood boards that I made, the whole PowerPoint.

I developed my skills further by practising shots and getting loads of new photographs for my F.M.P. A barrier that I hit would be when my friend Maja couldn't make the photo shoot on Tuesday due to problems at home. I am very proud of the test shots that I done as they came out so nice.

•Improve:What improvements do you need to work on?
Task 6b: Written report: After all the research, planning and practical work has been completed you will need to show that you can reflect upon your own work. Produce a visual and written report that evaluates your final production but equally as important the process you worked through to complete this project

1. Briefly explain what the idea for this project was.

My idea for this project was to do a photo documentary for London fashion and Street wear.

2. How did you go about generating and planning your idea for the production

I decided to do what i'm best at, photography. I chose London fashion and Street wear as it's a culture i'm heavily involved in and passionate about, so I decided to include it into my college work as I know I could get a lot of pictures for it.

3. Analyse your final product in terms of artistic and technical qualities. Discuss the techniques you have applied to your work and any technical problems you have had to overcome.

I didn't have a problem with any of my shots, possibly something small like a model having to reschedule or not turning up on time, but besides that everything went to plan. I used a range of shots in my F.M.P by trying different angles of the same image. I managed to get shots in many different areas and settings and weathers, so the artistic side is there as most of the outfits the models are wearing fit well with the weather conditions and the locations I chose. I even used a Japanese inspired shot that wasn't necessarily planned, however came out great so I used it.

5. How effective was your planning and pre–production? Could it have been improved?

My Pre-Production was really good, my tutor even said it's distinction level. I done so much for Pre-Production, including 5 practise shot documents. My planning was very fluent as I already knew what it is I had to do, and I had my final idea very quickly from the beginning. It could have improved if I maybe tried to get more practise shots, as most of those were unplanned and I just kind of winged it, however the test shots came out amazing and i'm very pleased with them.

6. How close is your final work to your original intentions?

I'd say nearly identical, as I planned most of my shots, but I also planned on taking random shots on days out to see if they are usable for my F.M.P and I was right, many of my shots were unplanned. majority were planned and came out either identical to the plan, or excelled what I expected from these shoots.

7. What have you had to change and how?

I didn't have to change much besides some dates of when I met the models, and I had to wait for the events to pop up. So it was only the timing I had to change. I also changed my idea of rather than a Powerpoint slide show, I used Adobe Spark as I prefer the layout.

8. How well did you manage your time and work towards deadlines?

I managed to finish my work very quickly and efficiently. I managed to produce distinction level work in short amounts of time, as I worked hard and even thought of my main F.M.P ideas at home as well as college. I submitted everything way before the deadlines, and checked through to make sure they were worthy of being submitted.

9. How effective was your research in helping you achieve your objectives? Give annotated examples from your research to show how it informed your development of ideas and final idea.

My research wasn't too helpful, as I already knew what I was doing, and I felt as if the research part slowed me down a bit. of course I took a few ideas off my research, but only from my own research. not recommended research to me.

10. What would you do differently next time?

I would maybe attempt a video next time I got the opportunity. I like to work towards multiple tasks, and I enjoy trying new things. If I done a video it would be a short movie as I enjoy watching them on YouTube a fair amount.

11. What are the main strengths and weaknesses of your work?

My main strengths would be; Using a camera with a lot of knowledge on the settings, very good eye for photography, very organised at planning shoots, know a lot of people who would be good for models, confident in knowing what images would look good where.

Some of my main weaknesses would include; Not having a lot of knowledge of Photoshop, Sometimes takes me a lot of time to actually build up the effort to go to the places for my shots, laziness.

4. Use annotated screen shots from your work to illustrate question 3?
