Fate is like destiny, it is destined to happen. Free will is you making up your fate not fate choosing yours. Fate controls the universe/your life. You don’t have a choice in fate. You can choose your free will, free will does not control the universe/your life.

Fate is uncontrollable, while freewill is controllable. Fate is what is meant to happen. Freewill are the decisions made that supposedly affect a future outcome. Personally I believe that our lives are controlled by fate. Everything that happens is meant to happen for a reason. I believe this, because some of the occurrences in life are just completely unexplainable, but in the end it all makes since why it did occur.

I feel like free will is ur ability to speak your mind and make your own decisions and fate is something that I’d bound to happen almost. I feel as if free will controls your life more. It gives everyone the chance to mess up or choose their own life path basically. Everyone controls their actions and fate can always change but free will won’t. Fate is what’s meant to happen and free will is the right to make what you want happen. I think they both have an equal role in my life. Free will can determine your fate, your future has many different outcomes. Your free will determines which outcome comes into play. Destiny is what is meant to happen in life, it is the path that has already been set for you. Free will is what you decide will happen in your life, it is the path that you set for yourself. I believe that free will mostly controls your life. Because every decision you make, alters everything in the world. For example, You leave your house, and you’re driving down the road. Then, a deer jumps out in front of you and you hit it. Had you decided to leave 5 seconds earlier/later you wouldn’t have even met that deer. Reasons like. Fate is something that people see as being controlled by a higher power than themselves. Free will, however, is the act of controlling oneself and ones actions. In my opinion, our lives are controlled by free will. If in my mind I though I wanted to smash my phone and I did it, that was me. Nobody else told me to do that. Now my life is affected because I have no phone, but it was my own actions and thoughts that made me smash my phone in the first place.

The difference between fate and free will can be determined by humanity’s control over these two separate concepts. Fate is a seemingly uncontrollable phenomenon in which profound episodes in life are destined to occur, regardless of any human interference. On the contrary, free will is our own ability while on this Earth to make the choice of doing what is right or wrong; in other words, free will grants us with the opportunity to make our own decisions based upon morality. Although I do believe that most things occur for some specific reason (thus aligning to the notion of fate ever so slightly), I also maintain to the principle that these occurrences are a result of God’s desire to bestow free will upon us. Plus, to my viewpoint’s credit, I do not think that we could ever possibly live in a world stripped of its free will because we would then all be completely robotic in nature considering that we would be deprived of any autonomy and choice whatsoever.

Fate is something a lot of people believe in they think whatever decision they make doesn’t really matter because by fate if something is meant to happen it will. Fate is something that the universe decides uncontrollably. You have no control for what fate decides for you, and you won’t know the consequences of you fate until it happens. Free will is something you decide to do. You can control the consequences of your actions by seeing what they are before you decide what to do. You can always weigh out the options you have before picking something out of those options. I think sometimes its a mixture of things that control my life, at some points I choose my own actions and other times I’m not able to control what happens.

Free will is something that you can decide meaning that you get to choose how you want things to go in your life. In the other hand fate is something that has already been decided in your life meaning whatever happens within your life that was meant to happen, so no matter how you decide to live your life with free will fate has already decided your future and how you will actually live your life.
In many ways I do understand how some people think free will is more powerful than fate but no matter how you decide to live your life fate has already decided and free will cannot change fate. That is why I believe fate is more powerful than free will.

I believe “fate” is what is meant to be and what other people think is your “destiny”. While free will is the ability to make your own choices without influence from another person or entity. I believe that both in a way control our lives because depending on our freewill decisions will determine the “fate” of our futures. Let’s say i eat extremely unhealthy in my childhood, at one point in my life the decisions i made as a child determine my fate of whether how healthy I am in the future. Fate is the a word that describes when your life and actions are preplanned in advanced and no matter what you do you can’t change it. Free will is the exact opposite in which your actions and life is your decision alone. In my opinion I am in control of my life meaning I don’t believe in fate. The reason why I don’t believe in fate is because let’s say I decided to eat a pop tart for breakfast well I could just have easily have eaten a sausage biscuit instead and that is my choice. Fate is the idea that everything is meant to happen, almost like an otherworldly force. Freewill on the other hand is that you yourself control what happens in your life. I don’t think either is real. Stuff just kind of happens and ultimately our inputs won’t matter or change that. Which isn’t a bad thing. Fate is something that was meant for you and it will end up some way being with you. You could not even know that it was meant for you and it ends up finding its way to you. Sometimes it can be you’ve thought about it and did it and it didn’t work out at the time and it comes back to you later in your future when you are ready for it. Free will is something that you get to choose. And I think that’s really the only difference between the two. Because you can choose something and it could be your fate, or it isn’t. I think that they both play a part. Because if it really is your fate then its going to be something that you love and enjoy or something like that, and you’ll most likely have to choose in that. I really think it just depends on the person. If its someone who wants something really bad in life then they’ll choose their free will over their fate.

I think fate is things that have happened to you in the past or things you have done in the past that are affecting you now is fate, and free will is any choice that you make now, knowing it could have a consequence later. I think that free will is bigger in your life than fate because every choice that you make you are choosing it with knowledge that something could and probably will happen because of that choice. I think fate is a thing and something can happen to you where you look back and say wow maybe this is fate, but I feel like you may never know for sure, but you know the choices you choose to make now are made on your own free will. I think that people make choices, not thinking about the consequences good or bad and then when later they catch up with them, it is simply dependent on the choice they made but they say it is fate. So I would say that free will plays the biggest part in the universe and in peoples lives, but I also think that fate is a thing, just maybe we confuse them sometimes.
