I'm the proud mom of four wonderful offspring, and the super-proud Mimi of six awesome grands! I've been teaching at Lone Star for a number of years, and I really enjoy this class.

I look forward to working with each of you, and hope that our course will provide some practical applications for you as you move from the academic world into your chosen career. This is my last semester here at lonestar and I plan on transferring to Sam Houston in the spring. I believe this class will help me learn more about communication in the proffesional setting since I plan on working in tech/corporate!

I have been at Lone Star College since the fall of 2022 as a dual credit student. This may be my last semester at Lone Star or at least second to last, as I will be trying to transfer to Texas A&M or the University of Houston. I hope this class will help me be more professional in my writing abilities, since construction engineering is related to being a construction manager, and you will need to write professionally.

I'm also the middle child and second daughter of my family. However, we do have two additions to the family. That being said, those two additions to the family are our two cats who are amazingly smart. I put only one on the photo because I just love that photo.

This is my first semester here at Lonestar and I plan on helping my career by furthering my education. I believe this class will better my abilities regarding communication professionally which is necessary in most, if not all career fields.

I am a second year college student at Lone Star College. I do plan on transferring to University of Houston soon. I am really excited to take the ENGL-2311 course and learn more about technical and business writing and how beneficial it is. It is nice to meet you all!

A little about me: I love reading, writing, playing video games, watching movies and shows, and watching basketball. My favorite NBA team is the Los Angeles Lakers and my favorite WNBA team is the Minnesota Lynx.

I am a sophomore planning to pursue a B.A. in English with a concentration in professional writing, so this class is perfect for me! I am excited to learn more about technical writing and develop my skills.

I'm Adrian, I go by Age with family and friends. I have been at Lonestar... longer than I'd like to admit. But I am very excited to be returning and finishing strong. I plan on soon transferring to TSU and pursuing a career in education. I enjoy going to concerts and the movies, and spending time with family and friends. This course seems very interesting and applicable to most careers, so I'm looking forward to learning and growing with you all.

I am pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy, driven by my deep-rooted passion for helping others. I believe that everyone has the potential to enhance their quality of life, and I find immense fulfillment in supporting individuals as they strive for greater independence and overall well-being. My patience and empathy motivate me to learn more about this field and to find innovative ways to assist those in need.

Currently, I am working toward earning my Associate of Science degree, to graduate in the Spring of 2026. Following that, I plan to transfer to Texas Woman's University, where I hope to delve deeper into my studies and gain the knowledge necessary to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. I'm looking forward to the journey ahead and connecting with all of you this semester!

My name is Jocelyne Suerte and I'm in my last semester at LSC. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering, and am planning on transferring to UH in the Spring. I plan on venturing around different industries in engineering and eventually settling in a Sr. Engineer or Project Management role. A little bit about me is that I have my AAS in cybersecurity, and was initially going to pursue a BS in Computer Science, but I realized how much I enjoyed physics and hands-on projects. I've been working at LSC for about a year as a program coordinator for the mentoring program, and this summer I started an additional job tutoring K-12 STEM subjects. My hobbies include reading, going to the gym, watching movies, and listening to music. My favorite movies are Interstellar, Dune Part 2, and Star Wars Episode 3. My favorite books are The Alchemist, 1984, and Brave New World.

My name is Jose ! Im currently majoring in Architecture Engineering and planning to enroll into UH next fall semester . A little bit more about my personal life is I am 21 years old and Im ALWAYS working . I am currently a Heavy Equipment Operator for a Dredging Company in Galveston . But when I am not working I enjoy my time off by watching sports and celebrating wins lol .

I have an A.A.S. in Mechatronics from Lone Star College, and I am currently working on my Electrical Engineering degree from West Texas A&M, looking to then get my Master's in Systems Engineering from Texas A&M. I am currently the Chief Engineer working for American Cruise Lines.

In my spare time outside of school and work I am restoring 3 classic family trucks (one my great-grandfather purchased brand new in '77)
