APA aimed to make a more standardised diagnostic tool for US &amp; others. 265 diagnostic categories organised into 5 groups (axes):</div><ul><li>Axes I – Clinical Disorders: depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia.&nbsp;</li><li>Axis II – Personality Disorders: paranoid personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder &amp; disabilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Axis III – General Medical Disorders: Acute medical conditions &amp; physical disorders such as brain injuries</li><li>Axis IV- Psychosocial &amp; environmental disorders: Family problems, housing problems, economic issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Axis V – The Global Assessment of Function: assessing the impact a person’s behaviour has on their social, work &amp; personal life.&nbsp;<br><br></li></ul>]]></description>
