Digestion and absorption the primary function of the digestive system is to break down food into smaller molecules that can be absorbed into the bloodstream.

Nutrient uptake is the nutrients absorbed into bloodstream are then transported to cells throughout the body.

Waste elimination is allowing for maximum nutrient absorption and then nutrients are then transported to cells throughout the body.

The digestive system interacts with circulatory system once nutrients are broke down and absorbed in the digestive tract they enter the bloodstream.

The interaction is crucial for maintaining homeostasis in the body wouldn't be able to obtain the nutrients it needs.

the circulatory system is also know as the cardiovascular system and is a complex network of organs and vessels that transport blood, nutrients, hormones, oxygen, and other gases to and from the systems.

Heart which is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body.

Blood vessels are the network of tubes through which the blood flows.

Blood is the transport medium within the body and it transport nutrients, hormones, and waste products.

The circulatory system interacts closely with the respiratory system and this is crucial for maintaining the body's oxygen supply and removing carbon dioxide, thereby supporting cellular respiration and overall metabolic function.

Hormone production is responsible for producing and releasing hormones, which are chemical messengers that travel through bloodstream to tissues or organs.

Regulation of body functions plays a key role in regulating various body functions such as growth and development, homeostasis, metabolism, reproduction, and response to stress or injury.

Coordination with other systems in tandem with the nervous system to control the body's internal activities and responses to external stimuli and the hormones released by the endocrine system help tp guide the way our body functions.

The endocrine system interacts closely with nervous system allows the body to maintain homeostasis and respond effectively to changes in the environment.
