I see Charles Darwin sitting under his proud tree watching,

Bright butterflies dance in the deep blue sky,

As the gloomy skulls and colourful birds

Are looking to greet people walking by.

Charles explored the seven seas in the

Beagle round and round the world searching

for his discoveries.

He found sandy fossils down below and

tiny seeds grew like beanstalks into plants

that are resilient.

Bold pebbles hidden amongst the pearly

shells some like diamonds,

Maps printed like royal works of art

helping to find his treasure, and how animals

became humans.
