The iPhone was developed for 2 and a half years before it was officially released to the public.

Although it was revolutionary, it wasn't a very big hit, as the iPhone was only released in 5 countries and the starting price in the range of 500 dollars, that for a phone at the time it was a lot of money.

They thought of sharpening the reed and dipping it in toner in order to create a writing mechanism. Little did they know that they had created one of the most important items used today. By the 6th century, they thought that the Egyptian pen was outdated. So they started using a specific type of feather as an instrument of writing, which was more flexible and light. This pen still needed to be sharpened, usually with a knife and constantly dipped in the toner. Later on, with the creation of the press, this item became a way of expressing thoughts and feelings. This originated a development in society allowing boys and girls to learn how to write and express themselves. At the end of the XVIII century the feather tip was replaced with metal tips. The only problem was that it was a lot heavier than the feather even though a lot more resistant. In 1827, Petrache Poenaru invented the toner pen, which was a development of the old pen. With this new invention it wasn’t necessary to constantly dip it in paint, however the item still needed some adjustments. It was in 1884 when Lewis Edson had a terrible accident at work that he created the toner pen with three canals. He was closing a deal with a customer and suddenly, a splash of paint flew out his pen smudging the important document. Not wanting to waste time, the client switched to his competition. This incident made him upset and wanting to create an item where these types of incidents wouldn’t happen again. This item became a huge success among the population. It was a brilliant and useful invention but it still needed improvements like not needing to dip in paint. This improvement only came in 1938 by László Bíró. It consisted of putting paint inside a plastic tube inserted inside the pen then the paint would descend to the tip of the pen by the force of gravity. This pen was called ball-point pen due to the little sphere in the tip that distributes the paint evenly throughout the page. The pen turned out to be a huge development not only in the writing industry but also in the technological field.  Ortopé (a companie of shoes in Brazil) invested in this invention and their sells increased 35% last year,2017 because this article was posted in that year, due the manager, Fabio Schmitz. This tought they would sell 200k of this pair of shoes but in the reality they selled 300k (in 2017).
