A common name for Phylum Porifera is Sponge

They have a simply Body plan with a simple porous structure and they have no organs or tissues

Sponges dont have tissues or organs but they do have specialized cells. These include Choanocytes which allow water flow. They also have Amoebocytes which allow nutrients to flow. Then they have Pinacocytes which form the outer layer of the sponge.
