There were also 1,195 passengers aboard who died.

After the Lusitania got attacked then people who were isolationists joined world war.  Americans put pressure on the president to join the war after this attack. 

 The Americans joined because 128 americans died.

 The german threatened to sink any ship that approached britain.

In 1915 the Lusitania was sunk by a german submarine. The Lusitania was a British passenger ship. There were l28 Americans killed during the hardship. In all 1,195 passengers Perished. After that Germany announced that any ship that would approach Britain would be sunk. Those are the reasons why America joined the war. 

It was a devastating day on June 28th, 1914 for Archduke Ferdinand and his wife.

 One day, on the streets of Sarajevo a terrifying moment happened. A 19 year old man with the name of Gavrilo Princip, shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie. At the time, Austria-Hungary ruled serbia. People from Serbia were mad  that Austria Hungary ruled them. The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife was actually the start of World War 1. Archduke Franz Ferdinand was appointed the inspector general of the austria-Hungarian Armed forces.  

Now, you may wonder where America joined in on the war. At the beginning of the war, after Franz and Sophie Ferdinand were killed, America was acting like isolationists. The event that persuaded this country to join the war is the sinking of the Lusitania. All three of these events took place during world war 1, playing roles in our history.

One of the causes of World War One  is alliance. That means an agreement that's among nations that defend each other. The two were Allied powers and the Central powers. Britain was with France counting with Russia; they were the Allied powers. Then the central powers were Austria-Hungary along with Germany, Then the Ottoman Empire. But there was more than one reason World War One was happening. Both the Allied Powers and Central Powers were wanting to take power of more land and people also that was adding up to imperialism in the part of World War One.

same reasons and can you recall those two sides of World War 1? They were called the Allies and The Central powers. The Allies consist of 6 countries, France, Britain, America, Russia, and Italy. The otherside, the Central Powers, were made up of Germany, the Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria and Austria Hungary. Both sides were strong and many harsh battles in trenches but the Central Powers were becoming Low on resources and other important things needed for War so they had to surrender. Germans and their allies didn’t want to give up but they realized they couldn’t defeat the otherside 

 because they were active in most of the war and didn’t have other allies coming in and helping them. Another reason why they surrendered was that they were running low on resources like food and water and other things needed for war. The reason was that the transportation was cut  so the citizens couldn't get food for their families. But even after they thought World War would be the war to end all wars there would be another war near them with a more powerful force and a strong leadership/or poor leadership of a dictator against the Allies.
