For example:
Fourth Grade is responsible for Principal's Day. They might email all teachers to please tell parents that Friday is Principal's Day, we will all wear her favorite colors and write nice cards for her.  They could also share a list of Dr. Bagwell's favorite things in their parent communication.

Having grade levels share responsibilities of planning and communicating appreciation days with families can take the weight off of a few people and encourage a whole school/community culture of appreciation and love.  I think parents really do want to show their appreciation to people, but they don't know when to do it.
