The text type is subjective. The purpose of the article is to show that obstacles in life can be overcome through perseverance.

Evidence
The evidence is the experience and opinion of the life of a child coming to Singapore from their homeland.

Point of View
The P.O.V. is of the child in third person's view. The interest group is anyone who face obstacles in life.

Reflection
I have found out that many people or everyone face obstacles or difficulties in life. Sometimes they might just feel like they should give up. However, this story is an example of someone who faced many big obstacles in her life such as moving away from her homeland, adapting to the new learning environment, learning new languages and making new friends. She overcame these obstacles by persevering and stapping out of her comfort zone, thus the name. Nevertheless, they continued to persevere and had the confidence to succeed in life. They had broken out from their comfort zones and made friends with completely different people.  Moreover, they had also overcome difficulties such as classmates making fun of their names, not knowing about the latest "cool" stuff and much more. Since most of these people have come from rural areas of their country, they were also astonished to see the beautiful places in Singapore and many times they felt that Singapore was a much better country. From their thoughts, I can say that most Singaporeans do not appreciate the facilities provided by the government. However, those who hail from other countries tend to see the benefits and truly treasure them. From these inspiring people, we should learn how to build up our self-esteem, be courageous and confident.
